Pretty corny I know, but it kept me amused for a minute or two. 🤣 🤣 🤣

May already plays 60+ minutes... Might as well keep Hunt on the bench to provide impact for those 20ish minutes May is off the field as a direct swap between the two. Pole and Fainu can both cover for Twal and Doueihi. No use having Bird there. Baffling
Cover for 2RF and halves (although so is Douehi) and possibly the tipping point cover for centre if Taylan doesn’t last full match (although again Douehi could cover). Ideally May does well this week and we could use that spot for a different player next week?

Wonder what ADs thinking?

Some have suggested for years he's the perfect 13, just needs to get busy in defence.

@batboy , @Lestronge for example.

He's actually huge and probably one of our biggest players. I hope he carves up and it'll really address one of issues, if he chooses to stay.

I really think he believes he's a genuine half and will see those opportunities elsewhere but let's see what he can deliver on Sunday.

Actually very excited for this game.
Quite a decent 17 with some big calls made.
Hope we get the win.
The way he plays, and hopefully the way Benji wants him to play, 6, 7 or 13 aren't much different. I think he prefers the halves because of the involvement, which he'll get here. He's not a bad defender if he doesn't have to make those decisions on the fringe. He can tackle what's coming at him.
3 kick options, 3 pass-run options. I like it a lot and I think it may even be a turning point for the season.

Honestly don't get the Hunt stuff. Thrown in to start one game, obviously wasn't up to it - but everyone knew that would be the case. He's an impact player. He'll give you a good 20 minutes, which is more than what we sometimes use on the fourth interchange. Offers so much more off the bench then Bird.

In an ideal world I'd have played AD lock from the interchange, have someone get through the intensity of the first 20 and then let AD run amuck with Luai and Latu.

2nd row is the obvious concern there, otherwise best we could do I guess.
Perhaps start with Sione for the first 20, then unleash the AD beast.

He's been about the Knights best this year in an underperforming team. 40 tackles a week at 93% and 113m a week with a handy offload. Not sure what else you're expecting
He’s a definite upgrade for us and if used well could be a real strike weapon for us. Not bad value contract either. All we can do is keep trying to upgrade with value contracts and wait for the occasional big signing. Steady sustained progress with the roster.

Yeah, they're good numbers but its just my impression of the six games I've seen him play. Lots of third man in, no strong shoulders and some arm grabbing.

Plenty of decoy runs, interested in post contact metres, hopefully they're good.

And it will be interesting to see if he gets picked for England
