I understand MacArthur FC gets a very cheap deal from the Council to play there….why is this the case ? I’m asking as you seem to have some knowledge of the place .
I asked Pascoe about that years ago near to when the Macarthur Bulls club first started up. I got the impression the Bulls management were on friendly terms with the Council, IIRC, that is why they got a sweet deal.

Also the Council had a hard on for getting some of that A-League love over to the South West, back when it looked more like the Socceroos and the overall A-League was starting to gain ground against the other codes. Since then I think the A-League has plateaued, perhaps gained ground over rugby and it's actually the NRL that has gone on leaps and bounds.

They have been around a while now … starting their 7th year .. I would be surprised if they are still on their first deal with the council … possible I guess … I don’t see them doing much to get the ground improved … would benefit them obviously as well if they had much ambition

WT need to have just 1 x ground. Whether it is shared with Bulldogs in future with a Liverpool development or push Homebush stadium redevelop onto the front foot. We cannot continue with 2 x inadequate facilities. If we go into shared ground with Bulldogs we make sure the ground and supporting hospitality and other things show it as a shared Tigers & Bulldogs ground to prevent the bias that is a Commbank and Allianz stadiums.
Bulldogs would love that , in fact they would like to gobble up all of the Wests junior base , maybe it’s time we moved out Dubbo way and play as the Western Magpies / Tigers .I say don’t do dogs any favours

It’s a pity. I will give them a bit more time then I might try to raise it with a board member of HBG.

It’s going to be a bit embarrassing for the club if HBG have to nudge them to accept sponsorship emails.

HBG are probably secretly unhappy with WT as it is

The only reason HBG would be unhappy with WT is if they thought that someone from our club stole Dennis's private expensive shampoo.

Dumbest post of the year
Since I brought up this argument that HBG is underfunding the club I have seen the topic brought up just about everywhere including mainstream media. When I made the point this was the first reply and it got 9 likes.

Maybe seek to comprehend what's being communicated to you before you leap to calling it stupid. It would make us all better if we approached one another with less cynicism. It isn't hard to do. Be respectful.

It all depends on HBG's committment to improving WTs through investment of funds - we have seen how far behind we are the elite clubs in regard to investment.
That won't happen without a substantial profit margin and it still may not happen if they are reluctant to do so. While ever they are owners making a substantial profit is a better and important position for us to be in, than not.

So back into the NRLW sponsorship, I’ve reached out to Roosters @Suzie-Q to see if they will respond.

I sent it via their membership team a bit earlier today as I did with us, even though I’m not a rooster member.

Let’s see if they respond, if, when and how!

Fingers crossed someone somewhere cares.

Lo and behold, a real rooster staff officer has just got back to me and sponsorship are going to ring me.

I’ll publish prices on the nrlw thread here.

Work might even end up sponsoring a rooster nrlw player if it’s in the price zone, especially if it’s tax deductible.

I’m not even a member and their team responds within the hour. Very impressive.

Agree TSP, these things should be basic '101' things to the club and its staff- especially those in sponsorship area. Whats up WT?

Champion @TSP, great that you're considering sponsorship of an NRLW player.

BUT

Wests Tigers are short for cash injections left. right and centre!
Sure, I hear that no one at WT has got back to you - and that is less than professional.
But again, your $$$ are precious and as a fan, I want our club to prosper.

Get onto Skando, persist and get your tax benefit while the WT ladies also benefits.

If you want.
It's your $$$.
But it upsets me that a potential sponsor could go elsewhere when the club (for all its faults) needs you.
