I asked Pascoe about that years ago near to when the Macarthur Bulls club first started up. I got the impression the Bulls management were on friendly terms with the Council, IIRC, that is why they got a sweet deal.I understand MacArthur FC gets a very cheap deal from the Council to play there….why is this the case ? I’m asking as you seem to have some knowledge of the place .

Also the Council had a hard on for getting some of that A-League love over to the South West, back when it looked more like the Socceroos and the overall A-League was starting to gain ground against the other codes. Since then I think the A-League has plateaued, perhaps gained ground over rugby and it's actually the NRL that has gone on leaps and bounds.
Bulldogs would love that , in fact they would like to gobble up all of the Wests junior base , maybe it’s time we moved out Dubbo way and play as the Western Magpies / Tigers .I say don’t do dogs any favoursWT need to have just 1 x ground. Whether it is shared with Bulldogs in future with a Liverpool development or push Homebush stadium redevelop onto the front foot. We cannot continue with 2 x inadequate facilities. If we go into shared ground with Bulldogs we make sure the ground and supporting hospitality and other things show it as a shared Tigers & Bulldogs ground to prevent the bias that is a Commbank and Allianz stadiums.
It’s a pity. I will give them a bit more time then I might try to raise it with a board member of HBG.
It’s going to be a bit embarrassing for the club if HBG have to nudge them to accept sponsorship emails.
HBG are probably secretly unhappy with WT as it is
Since I brought up this argument that HBG is underfunding the club I have seen the topic brought up just about everywhere including mainstream media. When I made the point this was the first reply and it got 9 likes.Dumbest post of the year
Agree TSP, these things should be basic '101' things to the club and its staff- especially those in sponsorship area. Whats up WT?Lo and behold, a real rooster staff officer has just got back to me and sponsorship are going to ring me.
I’ll publish prices on the nrlw thread here.
Work might even end up sponsoring a rooster nrlw player if it’s in the price zone, especially if it’s tax deductible.
