Was pushing the Raiders for a mid year release to go to the Knights, which was denied. I’d say he ends up there.

The salary cap is pretty important Jiksy… more dollars saved means more money to acquire better players when they “fall out of a tree”..

Everyone thinks the media figures are too high ..: but the club is still required to be spending 95 percent of the salary cap each year … we find a way to do this with a much less talented squad than most

Yeah cap is important for the people at the club who know exactly what everyone is getting paid.

But for the punters it's all speculative. Madden may be on $400K, $250K, $600K, $499K plus a free donkey... you can't do any calculations with guesses.

Personally ..I wish the figures were made public like most other sports do..the management of the cap is a very important part to the roster building that the fans should be able to accurately follow

Therefore the maximum difference is approx $600k less of the $ 11 million being spend on our squad than the Roosters, Bulldogs Broncos etc ..

I have been thinking of this for a long time it's only fair Cap plus TPA's

The only way they could do it is to print the salary and TPA's of each top 30 with no players name

I hope they do it

It won’t happen IMO because the RLPA does not want it, and they seem to get there own way most of the time …also the clubs don’t want it either because it exposes their signing blunders to the public …when it should “encourage” them to be a bit more responsible otherwise..instead of having up to 15% of your cap subsidising players playing elsewhere

I think being more transparent might also help reign in some of the influence fhese player managers are exerting over players and clubs that we know all about
