I’d say you’re the problem mate. If the saviour came through the front door of the club you’d stuff up his coffee and then complain about him.Losers like you are a big part of the problem at this club. A culture where losing is acceptable and underperforming is not only tolerated by celebrated.
Do you work for HBG by any chance?

We have the worst staffing spend of any club due to lack of investment. That is a major piece of the puzzle.Geez if you're correct Parra are on a build along Canterbury lines while we just lag along behind. Parra will be top 8 bound next year while we look for our spot in the bottom 4. We should be in the race for this type of player and pay overs for the right player if we have to. People on here like to have a shot at HBG for all our woes but recruitment is purely down to WT staff.

Forum: why don't we ever sign anyone? Why don't we ever have depth? What is Richo doiiiing???
Wouldn't surprise me if he is on a Development contract for next season and then top 30 from 2027 and we start him as a 19/20yo in Jersey Flegg with Marc Tannous in the halves.So, can we expect our NSW cup halves pairing to be;
7. Jock Madden
6. Javon Andrews
...?
I think pending any further depatures, we currently have room for three more signings. And more to come

Early part of 2026 season in JF our spine - Deininger, Andrews, Tannous, Haywood - now that's development!
Actually 4....I think pending any further depatures, we currently have room for three more signings.
Not sure if they'll be internal upgrades or external incomings.
For mine, we need..
1 - A genuine starting lock forward.
2 - a backrower
3 - outside back depth
1. Think well land something, probably surprise a lot of people. Maybe AD will be re-signed? Have to wait and see.
2. I'd be looking at Kayliss Fatiafola from NZ or see what else is around
3. Internal upgrade. Krystian Mapapalangi or Izaac Tuituppou... I'd be keeping both , perhaps not top 30, but cup contracts at least.
Low resolution thinking eh. Hope the Cert IV in management is going well for you. The trouble with a lot of old Balmain fans siuch as B Boy is they like to stick the knife in at every opportunity because Balmain are gooooone. If Balmain were still around they could have added their $1.5m to HBG's.We have the worst staffing spend of any club due to lack of investment. That is a major piece of the puzzle.
Coach, players and administrators form the other pieces.
We can't expect to be top 4 without serious investment in the areas that matter.
The trouble with a lot of old Magpies fans is they staunchly defend any criticism of the owners because they feel it is a shot at the Magpies. It's low resolution thinking and people need to look at the part the owners investment plays in building the club.
Without matching the investment of other top 4 teams, they are setting us up to fail regardless of the coach or players.
