Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Losers like you are a big part of the problem at this club. A culture where losing is acceptable and underperforming is not only tolerated by celebrated.

Do you work for HBG by any chance?
I’d say you’re the problem mate. If the saviour came through the front door of the club you’d stuff up his coffee and then complain about him.

Tiger in boots is one of the only ones in this forum that makes any sense and looking for positive change rather than just b*tching and moaning

as everyone’s mentioned

The Tigers have announced the signing of QLD U19 half Javon Andrews on a long term deal from next season.

Andrews nailed a sideline conversion to win the U19 Origin this season.
Wests Tigers: we are proud to announce the signing of Javon Andrews, Taylan May, Jock Madden.

Forum: why don't we ever sign anyone? Why don't we ever have depth? What is Richo doiiiing???

So, can we expect our NSW cup halves pairing to be;

7. Jock Madden
6. Javon Andrews

...?
Wouldn't surprise me if he is on a Development contract for next season and then top 30 from 2027 and we start him as a 19/20yo in Jersey Flegg with Marc Tannous in the halves.

Early part of 2026 season in JF our spine - Deininger, Andrews, Tannous, Haywood - now that's development!

And more to come
I think pending any further depatures, we currently have room for three more signings.

Not sure if they'll be internal upgrades or external incomings.

For mine, we need..
1 - A genuine starting lock forward.
2 - a backrower
3 - outside back depth

1. Think well land something, probably surprise a lot of people. Maybe AD will be re-signed? Have to wait and see.

2. I'd be looking at Kayliss Fatiafola from NZ or see what else is around

3. Internal upgrade. Krystian Mapapalangi or Izaac Tuituppou... I'd be keeping both , perhaps not top 30, but cup contracts at least.

halves tick.
I think big Mak will sort the backs.
Now for 3 forwards please Richo, at least 1 elite.

Ok. So we should replace Api, Jarome, Taylan, Terrell, Turuva and Skelton.

Who would you replace them with that would be better? I'm open to the criticism of the signings, but you've got to put down the alternatives.

Also, objectively we are not going backwards. We already have 1 more win than last year with 6 games remaining. That is not backwards. You may think we could have done more, but it is definitely not backwards.
I never said we need to replace the above...... my issue is we are still a mile off the top 8, or even the top ten teams, as you have pointed out signing the above players and only winning 1 more game so far is that really a improvement.

taylan just has to get a healthy deal. think they may hold off to ensure he’s committed but a club will snap him up if we don’t.
