Yes, you could say Adam is the better 7 now (I disagree), but Latu is a future Benji; he himself said it, so can we give him a consistent go at 7? Instead, we are playing someone at 7 who is probably not going to be here next year. We need to back latu like the dolphins backed katoa a few years ago, may not be ready to be a starting halfback week in week out, but you back him so in a couple of years he is one of the elite halves of the comp. I can really see latu reaching similar levels as Katoa in a few years has all the attributes to be a great half, minus the kicking game, which he will develop.

I think the latu move is short term to help us try and win today.. Latu made more impact for us off the bench in recent times, same with Douhei in the halves...

One things for sure, if it doesn't work, Benji is gonna cop it on here from a few 😂😂
 
Guarantee you Naden misses half of his tackles today, he can't defend at centre anymore Every time he has played there this year, he has been horrible in defence I could really see bird or Adam coming at centre for him eventually as well
 
Apart from Naden replacing Toa all the other changes are what I wanted
Luai and Douehi 6&7
Samuela and Sione starting pack
Latu to be the versatile no 14 covers many positions
Our attack has been disjointed with 3 play makers +Api
Hope the 2 + Api will simplify things
However it doesn't matter what backline we have if the pack don't make big meters .Must have discipline and Go Forward !

If we play physical in attack and defence, limit our mistakes and take our chances, we will be a big chance of causing an upset today.
We need big games from Bula, Luai, Doueihi and Korisau,
 
Just want to get in early. If scores are close after 20-30 minutes and we get a penalty right in front.... I will NOT be suggesting that we take the two! A hard lesson learned.
