Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I am thankful that my local GP was on the ball - I went to see him for a certificate for work for a golf injury and he advised to have a xray. That cleared me any ligament damage but showed a lesion on the lung. 48 hours later he had me seeing specialists and was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer - which was a shock as I have never been a smoker and never worked anywhere near dust, coal or asbestos etc. About 20% of new cases of this disease have a similar history.

Alot of turbo cancer is caused from the shot a few years ago search turbo cancer shots crazy stuff

rumours masi is debuting
I hope its not true, I have watched Haemasi since he was 14 years old. The potential is limitless but the club needs to be patient with him as its skies the limit if he is developed properly. Every time I have seen Masi targeted is Matts and Ball he had had quiet games and forced sideways. If its for experience it will help but he isn't ready yet for NRL.

Some of our fans have a bad habit of torching players that don't go well and I hope I am proven wrong but a kid has to get use to playing against men, its a big step up.

if they were gonna do it this year I would’ve waited til the Cows game , not confirmed tho so we’ll see
he’s a good kid hope he has a strong debut

You'd say To'a still not 100% & if he isn't Koula will burn him hard. Naden won't play NRL again for us after the social media incident.

Masi has got speed & big body. His task would be simple. Defend well & a few carries out of our end. Both achievable.

I'm totally shocked at how many of the gang on the forum have been affected by it. With all the arguing and banter on here every day I would never have guessed. It's blown me away that so many can be suffering yet not let on. Honestly we need a dedicated thread just for the guys and girls to go to if they need advice or are afraid or just need someone to talk to. I know it's a league forum, but above that we are a community and as a community we will always support eachother. Fingers crossed you get the all clear soon mate, iv never been touched by it but from some of the stories iv heard the side fx can be horrendous from the treatment. Pm me if you ever need a yarn. Same with anyone else who's going through something, just pm me if you need a yarn, doesn't need to be cancer can be anxiety, a bit of depression anything. Don't be shy.
Hey liltiger, I'm suffering from being a Wests Tigers supporters. My symptoms include emotional irregularity on match days and low mood for a week after a big loss. Should I see my GP?

Mate, maybe this was an attempt at humour but, to me, it is in extremely bad taste. The people who have opened up here are incredibly brave and are trying to help others. Your attempt at humour comes across to me as ridicule.

I agree. The pain from mental/physical health battles is far greater then your club losing every week. It's just a game and you can choose to stop supporting the club if it's making you that miserable. You can't just flick a switch and stop having mental/physical health issues, you have to learn to deal with it the best way you can.

Any know what hold with the Roberts signing from the Roosters is. Cooling off period? Nothing officially announced as yet.
When it was announced they had only come to a verbal agreement the contract hadn’t been signed yet. Probably waiting until after the round so I’m expecting it to be done this week.

If you have seen my posts before you should know that I am mentally unwell. Check out my username. It's good to open up but you also need to see the lighter side of things or you will be stuck in the darkness mulling over every thought. I'm not making fun of anyone I just want to get a chuckle out of someone.

Fair call. I was not aware of your situation and should not have judged. As someone who has had to medicate for over 20 years myself, I sympathise and, you’re right, a laugh is always good medicine. Best wishes to you mate.
