Radley at lock for 2 years as a stop gap, to just buy us time to find someone more long term, I'd do it in a heartbeat. We just need 35 - 40 games out of him in 2 seasons, he should be able to do that easily. If he goes well give him another 2 years. If not we have 2 years to work something out. Plus he's cheap uncle Nick is chipping in to move him on.

Had a busy day today so just catching up now but you just worded my thoughts mate if Doueihi ends up at lock we don't need Radley.

Plus we need Doueihi for his goal kicking if Latu is picked at half we need to fit him in at lock.

Reckon save the powder for an aggressive prop.

More versatility with Doueihi too.

Not sure why there is ANY panic with the roster going into next year.

Clear improvements this year regarding literally every aspect of the game.

A lot of things to note

The full pre season was with Galving and Luai as the halves. Did we look good/improved in the first 5 weeks of the season. YES. Then what happened? Galvin had his 7th sook regarding his contract and ultimately [This word has been automatically removed]ed us for the next 5 weeks due to a disruption. ANYYYY team who loses a half mid season will struggle for a period.

First 10 weeks Star was looking like a top 5 centre, injuries hit and he started arm grabbing and it was looking shit but Im sure with a full off season he should come good next year again unless he gets comfortable with his contract.

It is clear as day that Latu x Luai as a combination especially in the red zone. Latu is 100% our future 7. Yes Doueihi looked great at 7 but that was due to his game management. Latu can learn that but doueihi can't learn the ball play and deception that Latu has. Latu also squares up the middle insanely well for someone who hasn't had a full season. He is ALSO a better defender than Doueihi.

We had an outside back problem for YEARSSSSSS. Now we are spoilt for choice with May, Star, Turuva, Masi, Skelton, Luke L and Doueihi if need be.

Samuela has a clear knee issue but looked insane towards the end of the season especially with May next to him. That left edge is lethal in both attack and D.

Our middles are also night and day better than it has been in a decade. Terrell has made over 100m every game and last 3 years we had multiple games where we had not a single forward over 100m.

KPP coming to our right edge will also give us a crap ton of stability especially defensively. Seyfarth off the bench is underrated and he will thrive in the middle if he keeps his discipline under control

Minus the Storm game we were pretty much in every game and had a chance to win them. Big improvment from the last 3 years where we woujld concede over 50 pts at least 3-5 times a season

For those who are off Bula. Honestly silly to think we are better without him. We literally only won 2 games without him this year and one of them was against the roosters with many key players out and the other game was the Titans

THE BIGGEST TAKEAWAY FROM THIS SEASON IS THE CONNECTION AND CHEMISTRY THE TEAM HAS.

For those dibby downers who are bagging the team. STAY ON THAT SIDE. I would put my house on us making the 8 next year if we have a full pre season and an uninterrupted season.

The Tigers finished the season with 3 losses.. 2 of which were unloseable games..

The Tigers conceded 36 points in 13 minutes..
- 18 points in 5 minutes to the Cowboys..
- 18 points in 8 minutes to the Titans...

The Cowboys loss was at Leichardt too..

I was optimistic all season, but that finish to the season is of grave concern. Its all good and well for the boys to be tight, but clearly there are some issues that need to be addressed.

I can't buy what you're selling, been burnt too many times.

If we have a proper lock we don't need another prop realistically coz Twal and Sione come into the prop rotation with Terrell, Pole, Hunt and Seyfarth

KPP won’t be our only notable signing

Our main issue this year was depth which we have addressed and will further improve

South’s have so so much going on to the point it doesn’t really make a difference who is playing

Titans I can see improvement out of

I highly doubt with how disjointed Newy are that they hit the ground running

Gee the Tigers will again struggle in 2026 if KPP is considered a notable signing. He comes to us from the team who finished with the Wooden Spoon. I have no wrap on him.

I honestly think the Luai/Fainu/Doueihi problem would be fixed easily if Luai just dug his heels in and had a proper crack at 7. He is still a good player but he was in very bad form both at 7 and 6. He had a disrupted season with galvin overtaking him, then heath mason for a few weeks, then latu, doueihi, and then latu again. He looked his best next to AD understandably playing as a running 6 acting instinctively. AD is the best stable option for the next year to get the boys home in games we should win, luai is probably the one who should be stepping up but is simply not doing enough, and latu's selection at 7 will be good for the future of the club long-term but hurt us short-term in closing out games rather than how sides like the Storm

It gets them results however it also delivers a large number of concussions...think Cordner, Friend, Radley and Teddy has had his fair share. walker has also had more than he should with his number of games. Perhaps in a different system with different structure Radley may be able to temper his technique and prolong his career.

It's definately an effective defense, but one that seems to be breaking people.

Craig Fitzgibbon was huge into the wressle. I wonder if this is contributing.
We may start to see the same at the sharks.

The margin of error of going a bit too high with that kamikaze style defence has worked against Radley (and others) he gives away a lot of penalties. This year the footy has been great viewing with its momentum shifts (or a “game of two half’s”) where you think one team has the game won (like the Raiders V Broncos). We have seen the Cowboys and Titian games get away from us with momentum swings.
It’s buyer beware with players like Radley. They can do something good to change the game or get penalised or sent off.

Yeah he’s another like Nelson. He’s one of the most penalised in a team that’s gets the rub of the green from the refs, imagine how often they’d penalise him at the Tigers?
He could be a good stepping stone player for us for 2 years, and him. I’d bet quids a team like Perth would pay good money for him no matter how beat up he is.

Good investment IMO, the guy would add plenty at 13 where we have lacked any strike.
Instantly improves the pack in a huge way.... yes the headknocks, but worth the risk.
What were they going to pay that muppet dossier kid to stay?
Surely they kick the tyres.... it would be a travesty if the red V beat us to the punch.

Mixed feelings re the possibility. At his best very good enforcer and hard runner of the ball but he is close to the end. Don't want to end up wth another Bwaith type pension collector, which is a real possibility.
