Watson and Lyon? Do they bat or bowl left handed?
I lived in Avalon for about 20 years before moving to the retirement home in Bayview and the standing joke was if you lived south of Bilgola bends you needed a passport to come into Avalon.I think that page would be from Pittwater Life about 25 to 35 years ago judging by the adds.
Apparently, Watson signs autographs with his left hand, and the Lyons name (from what I can find) should NOT be on the list - he's a right handed person.
So champion @Dr_Ice, you're right, neither of these players should be on a list of lefties as cricketers.
Can you name them? Third from left is Bryan Davies, then Brian Henderson. Far right is Noelene Batley and next to her is Lucky Starr. Don’t know the rest.

Forgot he bowled left handed .....unusual mixture ....most opposites bat left handed and throw / bowl right handed ......I'm one of those weirdos lol
