Jahream Bula #269

I stay optimistic and believe the deal gets done. if we do use this supposed war chest at some point I would happily use it on Bula. He astronomically alters our attack for the better. The bloke will only get better.
It has taken us years to find a replacement for Teddy, HERE HE IS, JAHREAM!!
Both Attard and Brookes are talented but not nearly the same level as Bula.
I would happily pay 900K to Bula in a heart beat.
We are lost without him

Former NRL star Beau Ryan wanted to clear up any speculation that Bula wants to leave the Tigers because of Moses’ influence.

“There’s this mindset out there that Jahream Bula isn’t taking up the option because his manager Isaac Moses is telling him not to because he (Moses) doesn’t get paid. That’s got nothing to do with this,” Ryan said.

“It’s all good for his agent to advise him but at ultimately Jahream Bula decides his future,” Read replied.

“If Jahream stays or not, it’s his decision.

“They can cancel the current deal and do a new deal as well. They can say I’m not taking up the option and then they negotiate the new deal and then the new manager gets paid.

These two guys are a bit naive here about the impact on a kid who is only 23 by influential people like Moses. Who was making sound decisions at that age? I wasn't.

So yes, it's Jahream's decision, but the data doesn't lie in the sheer volume of players, managed by Isaac, who have left the Tigers compared to non-Isaac players. As well as certain club CEOs/chairs who have refused to deal with him.

There's something there.

I’ve been trying to tell people this …but a lot here told me that Isaac Moses will make the call,,.

Bula probably never spoke to Moses until he became his manager 18 months ago… this decision will probably be one of the biggest of his life… he is a fool to entrust it to someone else and I doubt he will…

Also …23 and married isn’t a kid …like Galvin was last year ..and I suspect Galvin’s father had more influence than Moses on his decision to leave the club

We need to learn to work.with him when necessary
We.still.have Godinet whos with him
I disagree. We need to cut off all contact with a known criminal player manager, anything less is a disservice to our club. Hopefully Phoenix’s parents understand his true background.

Reality is he has power and quality players in his stable we either grow up be professional or pout with spite for another 10yrs lose our better players yet again. Either way he doesn’t lose & he gets his commission, but one way we continue to lose.

not working with mr moses is an old myth ,his stable is to big to ignore

Nope. I’m over our club doing dumb things, never playing finals and not being professional.
This is Re Issac Moses.

CUT ALL TIES!

I have a pass for Bula because I blame that situation on us. That said, would rather punt Bula if it means all Issac Moses players are gone.
Godinet must go or change managers.

Heck why keep any "promissing new talent" under IM. We know exactly what will happen if they find form.

Does this mean the spoon? Maybe. But it means we can start afresh and from a base that can build.
Every year we keep an IM player, we will get into this same garbage. See Manly and how crap coaching + player manager white-anting has ruined them. (bold call, I expect them to be bottom 4 or spoon without DCE).

Rip the cancer from out of our club.
