I have seen things over the years supporting what he said in articles etc. I don’t think the info is necessarily out there for the public to access but it’s been well known for a long time his athletic ability is freakish for his size/build. Probably the dumbest player I’ve ever seen on the field though to balance things out lol…

Backs take the first 3 hit ups in ever set. They set the tone. Getting out of our half has little to do with our forwards. It's everything to do with our backs, our poor kicking game and out lack of line speed in defence

But being honest every position is very important and you need 20 good players I think the Tigers have about 14 good players

Nah not true, at the end of 2026 we will probably be letting go 6 or so players so we will have a few spots each year open up.

Soon enough we will be looking at how we fit Samuela Fainu, Kai Pearce-Paul & Phoenix Godinet into the backrow. Not in 2026 but very possible for 2027.

My left-field prediction is an evolution of Kai Pearce-Paul into the middle in the future. His height, ungainly running style, offloading ability, and strength in the hold and wrestle could wreak havoc in the middle.

Pearce-Paul is a right side backrower atm which is Godinet's preferential side. I'd rather lave Samuela Fainu on an edge with his tackle-busting ability and to forge that combo with Luai & Taylan.

So 2027, KPP to the middle, you've heard it here first & maybe last lol

Unlike.many im.kind of excited and quietly positive for next year.
If we get steady improvement from.our youngens (fainus, bula, maka) a full season out of toa, kpp and tiny, and some pressure in the forwards from bunty, geyer, sakura, bird, sukkar and hunt, we will be pretty good.
We were electric at times last year and a year on together should improve that. Again our defence needs to step up but i think the squad is so much better then what we had in the past.

Richo isn’t going to come out and tell the media, rival teams etc who he is targeting. He’s smarter than that. Keeps the attention off us and on others.

Yes … I must admit that it’s so much fun in the offseason now for us fans …never connected with any new players, and the CEO telling us all that there will be little change to the team year on year …the offseason just flies by
