it is the brain dead magpie element, they absolutely cannot help themselvesI was hoping for a nice quiet off season with some training photos , maybe a player of 5 interview , updates on new players settling in like Guyer and co , full off season for the boys , it looked like this was starting to happen , big Royce looking fittest I’ve seen , AD back in training looking strong and bang , shit show is back , I just can’t believe any board member would want to start shit every year and now of all times pre season , couple spots left for maybe a quality player etc , who ever has done this needs to go , but the NRL needs to step in now as this is just a joke , place was humming along , PV needs to come down hard as this is just disgusting again , I was hoping this year for me would be enjoyable as I don’t have a lot of time but again some one with power just decided to throw a curve ball in , i feel for all our supporters
Personally, I can’t see the NRL allowing a return of Wests Magpies to the top comp. It’s WT or nothing I reckon,Does anyone actually think the Maggie’s will return though, I thought the nrl ultimately has control of the license and wants a tigers team, so unless wests break off I thought there were tied in the merger
manly took over northern Eagles ...Exactly, so how are the Magpies going to come back. People jumping at shadows.
That’s what I think, if hbg don’t want the tigers the nrl will simply take them elsewherePersonally, I can’t see the NRL allowing a return of Wests Magpies to the top comp. It’s WT or nothing I reckon,
Bears still ended up coming back toomanly took over northern Eagles ...
When did Wests take majority ownership, around 2015? So 10 years ago. Every time there is a a flare up with the board, people think the sky is falling and that they are trying to bring back the Magpies. Like gun nuts in the US crying “They’re trying to take our guns”. No they’re not. Nor are the Magpies coming back. The race to victimhood is a fascinating human trait.Personally, I can’t see the NRL allowing a return of Wests Magpies to the top comp. they could have both if western suburbs stay put and they let Brisbane tigers in (has the Richo connection )Personally, I can’t see the NRL allowing a return of Wests Magpies to the top comp. It’s WT or nothing I reckon,
Based on a few board members being told to kick dirt? Not a chance.another spoon year is cooking now
the independent board was the reason shane joined the club. if our ceo leaves and we are back under the control of the dinasours that were involved in the past 10 years of failure why would it be any different.Based on a few board members being told to kick dirt? Not a chance.
The Richo stuff is hearsay.the independent board was the reason shane joined the club. if our ceo leaves and we are back under the control of the dinasours that were involved in the past 10 years of failure why would it be any different.

Im all for it.A few years ago LA Clipper fans sat in the stands with paper bags over their heads to protest the owner.
I wonder if the HBG would consider a sale of the license...
Richo would be able to drum up the private equity now he can show a profit.
If we are being realistic the hopes of the average WT punter now sit with Richo & his next move.
He goes we are going backwards.
He stays we have hope... But for how long...
Listening to Lee H on SEN he confirmed all the years of divide but did say the Richo has a well constructed contract in his favour. Smart!
Sale of the licence would be a great outcome. There’d be any number of possibilities in terms of who might buy and what corporate structure might be involved and not all of them would necessarily be a good thing. But you could hopefully rely on the NRL to put safeguards in place to ensure a successful sale.I wonder if the HBG would consider a sale of the license...
