Just when we thought Galvin saga had distracted us from 2025,,,,this leapfrogs it somewhatCan't wait for the Jarome Luai will he stay or will he go then the Bula circus will be bubbling along and then the Marshall circus will rear its ugly head me thinks 2026 could be a right off already.
IT'S weird, personally, I'm a bit numb to this. Its so cyclic! We slowly seem to be turning the club around, things are looking positive and then bang, some pleb we never should have even heard of throws a grenade and runs off before the explosion, leaving others to try and put the pieces back together.
The organisation needs wholesale change. The leaks are a joke, the upper management is a joke, and the lack of accountability is a joke.
The sad thing is I'm just not interested, the expectation of this happening time and time again far outweighs the hope for the future at this point.
Like most have supported the tigers from the get-go, supported the magpies before that. I was so excited to join a club with the history of the tigers, and for the most part, i still think the partnership is great regardless of it all.
I want to care but this club is literally driving me to the point where i don't. This personally makes me a little sad because i love rugby league, i love my tigers, i love the supporter base, and most of all I love the camaraderie of it all.
I don't even really care if this gets responses; even though I love the discussions on the forum good, bad and ugly. just need to get it off my chest and move on.
Sad sad day.
IDTLDR
And here we go again.can everyone just stop chanting TIGERS at games !

Sort of, not quite. Benny came along later. The initial plan to redevelop the club was based on council advice to buy up property surrounding the original club. They secured funding from a subsidiary of Lehmann Brothers right before the GFC. After this fell apart Benny’s mob came along to “assist.”Pretty sure it was when the morons at Balmain Leagues decided to listen to Benny's consortium to build the new premises, that ended up being their downfall. Harry said after all the time he spent there, the money he put into it, he said we could have helped with the council issues we could have helped with the planning issues, he said he never even got a call. That's when he washed his hands.
My 30 year old son and I have had a real bond going to Leichhardt oval every game to cheer on the mighty Tigers. He rang me yesterday to ask what the hell is going on. I tried to explain it but his comment was it just makes him feel sad!IT'S weird, personally, I'm a bit numb to this. Its so cyclic! The quality of our social media presence has increased dramatically with no blunders like the last people doing it.My question is if it was at any other club would there be a song and dance over it and who blew the whistle someone from HBG.
If as just mentioned it was a ridiculous amount of money for the job done, then Houston we have a problem and it really does flip the script.
That then comes back to the directors sacked we are still in the dark over it hope it's not too long for some transparency over this decision.
Boy what a mess it just keeps getting worse and worse, only at Wests Tigers people geez.
So I take it HBG are now trying to get out of Richos upcoming 2 year payout.Looks like they are going after Richo…anyone got the full article?

Wests Tigers CEO Richardson at centre of NRL integrity unit probe after whistleblower tip off
The NRL Integrity Unit has conducted several preliminary interviews following a whistleblower tip off that raised serious concerns over the conduct of Richardson and senior staff.www.smh.com.au
Makes you wonder what conversations and assurances his (apparent) decision is based on.Yes it's been reported last night he said this to one of the pod guys... its looking like hes staying
Good news eh
Yes he is. If it's Toddy I will walk backwards to Wests Ashfield. His only claim to fame is that he's a trainer who has dated some pretty good-looking women and broke an engagement with Yvonne Sampson (from memory). I know Moley suggested this (if it wasn't a fake post) but the guy has zero CEO credentials in his CV at all. Even HBG wouldn't do this. If they do I'll start walking.isn’t Todd Liubinskas - who the media are suggesting is the new potential CEO - the son of a HBG director????
That's what I'd like to see, tooI'm hoping it will go something like this;
Richo resigns from HBG on Monday to put himself at arm's length
PVL revokes HBG's licence for failing to act in the best interests of Wests Tigers
Laundy or the NRL takes up the licence
Richo gets reinstated as CEO
Business as usual with no HBG
That would be nice for us but there are dozens of possible outcomes.
And, yet again.Don't be silly if we were called the Balmain Magpies the old magpie fossils would complain that we were putting Balmain first.
Well yes, they are the source in all this mess jad but if they've done nothing wrong in this sorry state of affairs then it looks like we will be stuck with them yet again.Only at places ran HBG is closer to the mark and what a terrible insult it is to both men who were legends of their founding club's to have such an abortionof an organisation named after them.
I got the feeling yesterday this is starting to really look like the souths privatisation saga that Richo led, with Laundy now openly stating he wants us. There would definitely be others.Makes you wonder what conversations and assurances his (apparent) decision is based on.
I can hear the “HBG out!” chant already.Yeah, agree. We need to act with our feet in protest next year if nothing changes
It’s untenable because Richo has said repeatedly he doesn’t need this rubbish. The owners just needed to give him a long leash and stick to counting their pokie winnings.Lol It's a bit extreme to suggest it's untenable?
If they determine that the contract was fine, we move on.
If every conflict deemed everything untenable the world would be at a standstill
