OK, I'll take the question in good faith. Two reasons - one because they were trying to hose it down as much as they could and, two, because his transgressions sailed close to the wi nd but did not cross the line. They were hoping he would get the message and tone down the use of family for procurement of services.

Yea fair enough . I got sucked into that a couple days ago . When I could rationalise my love of the tigers . They try and use your love as wests tigers as a gotcha moment . “Well if you love the wests tigers why won’t you love the wests magpies “ ha gotcha “ because you really love Balmain” . It’s such a bullshit argument . Because you wouldn’t follow the magpies because the disregard for any lover of wests tigers . I don’t even like using the word Balmain , it’s soo irrelevant .

Knew it was a mistake to take the question in good faith. None of the above is true and nothing I said remotely points to it being true. For the record I don't know who the whistleblower is, if there is one. You sound pretty naive but if you think public pronouncements from anyone made through the media are accurate or truthful in every respect you really are as stupid as you appear.

It’s such a betrayal of privacy as well . Imagine your under investigation for something you didn’t do , so you’re allowing due process to happen , only for your company to “accidentally” let the case information out for all to see.
It’s ethically and morally reprehensible. No matter your feeling on Richo. I’d seriously sue my company if it happened to me . There’s no excuse for it .

I know this guy is right. I've known him for many years and he's honest and truthful. I don't know what "nothing to see here" means in the context you've used it. There's plenty to see and it's ugly and reflects poorly on HBG, Richo and BOF. If you think I'm trying to absolve HBG you could not be more wrong. The only point I'm trying to make is there is much more to this than has been said thus far and a lot of the speculation is off target.

The NRL would be wise to steer well clear of this mess, take control of the license and administer the club until a new buyer can be found.

I became privy to inside information from an impeccable source this afternoon. The issue that broke this open had nothing to do with colour of jersey or any other trivia. It’s wholly and solely about Richo and the cosy arrangement he had with BOF for pushing approvals through that needed much more scrutiny.
As I said my source is impeccable but you believe whatever you like. I won’t be saying any more on the matter.
