HBG, Independent Directors Sacked

In case you forgot, Richo didn’t want Taylan May and had to be virtually forced to sign him.
Luai signed because of Be ji, not because of Richo.
Yes Richo has earned plenty of respect over the years, but he’s now an old man, has stated himself he won’t be around for more than a couple of years due to his age and he is not the only CEO who can get the job done.
The HBG spokesperson publically backed Richo, but now it’s rumoured to be certain they have the ones who have referred him to NRL investigation.
If he has done nothing wrong the NRL investigation will confirm it.
If the Independent Board has done nothing wrong the NRL will confirm it.
If HBG have caused all this latest commotion for no good reason the NRL will confirm it.
Once again you are making but you have all the answers when you know nothing.
I know that we have not made the finals for 15 years .. almost impossible mathematically without woeful incompetence at some level of management.. I know our pathways are a mess with our juniors and minor grade teams all wearing different jerseys .. I know that they were running at a loss till this year and that a review found that an k dependent leagues club board was needed to turn the fortunes around and I also know that HBG agreed to that until it seemed to actually start to work and then they sacked the independent board without cause ( unless they really didn’t like the orange in the gotdamn jersey) … what I do know is that they are terrible at running a footy team and that they have to go !

I found it funny when Dan Paton mentioned all the highs and lows in his retracted video statement. Apparently he’s been senior management for 10 years at HBG.

Which highs mate??
Well , for puppet Paton and his handlers the 3 spoons would be a high, the raudonikus day massacre would be a high, the NQ cowboy loss after the siren a big high and also the cowboys flogging us by 74 and the Storm by 60 would have been unforgettable days… Galvin drama as well as losing Teddy , Moses and Paps would also be looked back on with considerable fondness ,, so much so that a few underlings Paton gathered together to create an Instagram account documenting these “highlights” just to present as a birthday present to Wild man Denny to peruse for his own “viewing pleasure” and enjoyment ! 🤮🤮

it’s well known that taylan was invited for an initial interview with richo and he wasn’t well. richo told him to seek support first & taylan admitted himself into a mental health hospital. richo re-visited the signing when he was clean & healthy and even then only signed him to a train and trial. he protected player and club. to paint it any other way is just absurd

It has not been proven they have turned on Richo.
Yes I agree it’s probably more than 50% likely, but their spokesperson has publically backed him, so it’s not factual tj say get have turned on him,
What I don’t understand is so many people saying they will still back him or BOF if they are proven guilty of unethical conduct,
If the NRL clears them of any wrongdoing doing, then there is reason for this unwaivered support.
Your version of "backing" someone and mine are definitely not on the same page if the treatment of Richardson over the last few days is your example. I think you are sitting alone on your own island if you believe that.
Mate you are not looking at this objectively it doesn't matter how hard you try you are coming across as an apologist for the most dysfunctional failure of an organisation who have no credentials or business acumen to justify their entitlement to maintain governance over this club or any professional sporting organization. They use power to sack people and pay them out with club funds and masquerade as "owners". They are the lowest of the low when it comes to administrators and the day Holman and Barnes no longer have their names tarnished by this mob will be a day for celebration.

If you haven’t noticed there is still a large percentage of people who have no idea what’s going on, but want to voice their opinion based on rumours and hearsay about this being a Wests v Balmain conflict, a Wests v Cambelltown conflict, a conflict over the colour of the 2026 home jersey, a cknflict over pmandctjbtenane the rugby league team Western Suburbs Magpies, a conflict over the 9@% owners deliberately wanting Wests Tigers to fail.
What a load of bollox. We all know what's going on..

4 independent directors were sacked.
HBG said they want control. That's all fact.

The only thing we know for certain is there is a faction or individual within the current HBG board that is either stirring the pot or disillusional by saying outrageous things that everyone else knows will never happen.
We know alot more than that... We know the history of the HBG.. we know why the independent directors were appointed.. we know the football club was going in the right direction before this happened. We know the social media presence has been the best in years.. our recruitment is the best in years... We were on the up...

You're trying so hard to be "neutral" that you are ignoring what we know... And then claiming we know nothing..

Your head is soooo far in the sand mate..

Blind Freddy can see wtf is happening... Why can't you?

If we are to believe the runours HBG don’t like the Balmain side of the merger and want them gone, they don’t like the Campbelltown connection and want them gone.
So what are we saying, they want the club to be called the Western Suburbs Magpies, play out of Lidcombe Oval with around 500 fans attending home games and no junior clubs to feed into the NRL team ?
Who honestly makes this stuff up ?
Are they also planning on having flying pigs for the halftime entertainment?
Thank god it’s now with the NRL to make an informed decision on what happens moving forward to stop all this guess work and innuendo.
What happens if PVL concludes that the NRL licence is ok to stay with Wests Leagues PROVIDING they make changes, remove any perpetrators and work amicably with the CEO and rugby league club staff moving forward ?
Based on what I’ve been reading there would be many who still won’t be happy, will throw their toys out iof the cot and likely paint PVL as a villain.
The common sense way of thinking would be we have raised plenty of attention with our dissatisfaction, we will raise even more attention with the upcoming march/rally, let the NRL decide what is best for Wests Tigers moving forward and accept their decision even if it is not exactly what we want.
One fan is just a fan but the fanbase is the entire stakeholder. That is the game of professional sport. The fanbase are unravelled and rightly so. The ambiguity and consistent misalignment is the cause. The fans are right to be pissed off and it is the obligation of the club ownership to appease them and the NRL also view it as their obligation too. The HBG seem not to realise this. The root of the issue right there. You are entitled not to be unraveling but the majority are and they are right to be. The club has a duty of care to it's fanbase as primary and most important stakeholder. HBG care about their debenture holders, Wests members, paid WT members and the rest last. That is a recipe for disarray.

HBG see us as noise to be ignored...they know better than us.
