HBG, Independent Directors Sacked

I hate that there are selfish old people hoping for an outcome of a split from the merger teams. There are young kids and adults under the age of 40 who have grown up loving West Tigers only.

We (Magpies and Balmain supporters) should be able all throw our support behind this club together, get along and move on.

I'm a HBG member and like most are horrified by the conduct of the HBG board however, I won't resign my HBG membership as there could be an upheaval and subsequent vote such as scrapping the debenture system, the board elections or whatever, who knows?? My instinct at this time is don't patronise the place but, hold on to your membership "stay in the tent" and "keep your powder dry"!!

We need to support all WT staff, Benji and the team to the hilt but, during matches this season voice or demonstrate our displeasure to HGB unilaterally in some orchestrated way?

According to my research current HBG directors who are debenture holders are Burgess (Chair),Montgomery, Tropiano, Liubinskas & Di Michiel. Independents are Primerano (Deputy Chair) & Yabsley.
Current WT board members Burgess & Montgomery both debenture holders can anybody confirm?

It’s not Montgomery . It’s a guy with a Greek last name . I honestly don’t know who he is .

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH, yea nothing to see here. Not sacked. Yea he just had enough. Somehow the LO upgrades slipped by the board even though it had been in Strat plan, on the news, and announced by the Prime Minister before it was announced at LO as HGB said. 18 months of recruitment and skills matrix work booted out like HBG only figured out how boardrooms worked by asking ChatGPT. Leaks to SMH about embezzlement from a club that made a profit for the first time in ages. Like yea... Richo just opted out. There was no efforts to remove him from the club. Hhahahahahaha just hilarious.

I found it interesting that there are people high up at the tigers who are breathing a sigh of relief Richo is gone. As well as Richo firing people for suspected … suspected talking to the media . Don’t get me wrong though , Chammas has duty to protect his resources and sources so it’s hard to take it on face value .
Maybe he’s right . Maybe Richo did [This word has been automatically removed] up a few negotiations re.Galvin and the lower players . But to blame the club for Tumeth and Matamua playing Sydney shield is a cop out . Matamua was given the keys , and he just ate pies for 2 years only putting in when he was discarded . And even then he wasn’t up to it . His fitness and performance was not above Sydney grade level . That’s just a fact. Tumeth like that whole age group , especially the ones who moved up quickly , all had ego problems . Onitoni large was the future of the club , he’s now 5th choice centre at manly . He’s got talent , but yea . Galvin … well Galvin and his family and Isaac , we’re just as pieces of shit as much as Richo . That’s a case Everyone sux .
Maybe Chammas is right and Millencamp can navigate through the rough waters and steer the ship .
But HBG need to either go , or change the debenture system to allow more democracy .
Now that Chammas has revealed he’s seen the emails and correspondence revealing the magpies plot to be true … it’s unsustainable.

The place was leaking like a sieve when Richo took charge and he said he'd stop that and he did.

Might have got a few wrong, but he achieved his goal. No one is perfect

Chammas should provide those emails to the NRL or st least a transcript to confirm the backroom activities by HBG

I don't know what you want here. I said he is a good CEO. Very good, if you want to hear it.

I also hope the next CEO is a good one.

But laugh all you want- right now, he resigned. Not sacked. The board did not sack him. Did they want him out? Probably. Did it have to play out this way? Probably not. They DID sack the board members. But not Richo. If they were in a sacking mood- couldn't they have booted him along with O'Farrell etc? They didn't. Why?

People are whipping themselves into a frenzy off the back of supposition.
 
Chammas obviously on the Isaac Moses and Pascoe side of things.

Richardson may have not been perfect but he was getting results and the club was finally moving forward after years of mistakes

I'll take Richardsons mistakes given the upside he was bringing over other and future guys who have and will be more your Luke Brooks type with mistakes with an average ceiling.
