Here is the latest, HBG are at it again PLEASE, PLEASE NRL intervene before the whole club blows up.
7 Players threaten to walk if Benji is no longer the coach and who could blame them.
The NRL needs to act swiftly and deregister HBG before they totally destroy the WESTS TIGERS.
Benji is the reason the players have signed on,
HBG are totally deluded it certainly is not to play for CLOWN TOWN the Holman Barnes Group.
This is such a bad look for the NRL to not step in and stop the rot,
WESTS TIGERS need an independent administrator now.
For the WESTS TIGERS to survive we all need to realise that this is a separate entity now its the WESTS TIGERS, we can admire what both clubs have achieved in the past but we need to unite as one and move forward together as fans, stay strong UNITE.

I think that the players should lift for Benji given the outside noise come round 1. They would be well aware his job is on the line and it they were ever going to lift or play for him, it would be now.

In saying that, I hope he keeps his job going into this season because the last thing we need is further instability amongst the playing group.

If the want Arthur so much they have to sack Benji ASAP give Arthur time to build relationships with the roster other wise at the end of 26 Arthur will most likely be going back to Manly for season 27

I am hoping the Benji media talk is just headline grabbing crap from the usual suspects. I don’t think Benji is going to walk and can’t imagine that HBG are that stupid to sack him (although they do seem pretty bloody stupid!).
The way things have gone to date - you’d be silly not to expect the worst possible outcome however- even the unexpected and unthinkable can happen at this club.

This part is where the NRL should step in and place independent board in place now , The Wests Tigers NRL side will have a handy cap on it now as the club is trashed in the media , fans uproar , protests , no current football club board , no leadership , and this will no doubt have a negative affect on the team , if the nrl don’t know it well I’m a poor judge as it is absolutely going to affect our team , I had us down to scrape into the 8 or be 9 th prior to HBG loosing its mind and destroying all the good things built in the last 12 months , but now if it stays 100% with HBG I have a terrible feeling we drop back to the last 2 spots and poor old Benji cops the blame , Dennis and co you are a disgrace , NRL show us you are in control of your product and install independent board for next 2 years and also inform the club HBG. Debenture system is gone , you got 2 years to replace it with a members voting system so everyone in accountable .

I agree with the team lifting, if ever players are going to play for their coach it would be under the threat of losing him.

As for losing his job anytime soon not even HBG with all the skat being thrown at them now would be stupid enough to do that.

That does seem to be the trend just happened with Richo, what's that old American Indian saying, he who speaks with forked tongue.

This is the same board (along with the Fedora and Pascoe) who appointed Fulton without consulting Benji or Sheens with the simple aim of creating tension.

I mean that was honestly the extent of the decision making process and strategy in that situation. They were unhappy with McDonnell so they duplicated his role in appointing Fulton, didn’t tell the coaches, then once Fulton was on board, restructured McDonnells role. Oh and then like a month later sacked McDonnell.

In Romero’s leaked emails re the governance review she also reiterated the football department needed to be under the microscope for underperforming, after Sheens had been sacked. So in other words another example of HBG shifting blame to coaches when they literally appointed.

It would not surprise me one bit if they sacked Marshall or were considering it. They live in a bubble and clearly don’t understand the consequences of or responsibility for their actions.
