I followed up on comments that Wests Leagues fund Balmain.
Plenty of people are saying Wests Leagues hate Balmain and do not spend any money for the good of Wests Tigers.
They are not obliged to fund Balmain and would not do if if they hated Balmain.
My understanding is they do not because they necessarily love Balmain, but believe the Balmain junior reps are an important part of Wests Tigers pathways and I 💯 agree with them.
If anyone else was to buy or take control of Wests Tigers, there is far from any guarantee they will fund the Balmain junior reps or have any care factor if they disappeared and only left us with the Campbelltown - MacArthur Wests Magpies junior reps.

Just to clarify and without any opinion on the amount. HBG funded Balmain Juniors $170k in 2024 with some clubs getting a grant as well.

You would know the figures much better than what I do, but regardless of the amount it is still an expense that benefits Wests Tigers at this point of time.
 
Two weeks of publicity on all forms of media and only 500 people turned up.
That's with Fox and friends doing everything in their power to instigate trouble
Surely the penny' s dropped by now that this forum, despite all the bluster from the same regular blowhards, is unrepresentative of the average supporter.

It's the same minority desperately trying to bludgeon the majority into their way of thinking day after day on here, spreading their pitiful protestations onto every thread.
It's tiresome, give it a rest.
There was a bigger crowd at my kid's primary school play.
The paltry turnout surely should be enough to put the crying and moaning to bed

As an aside, the political geniuses that ran the failed get together, who want a say in running the club, didn't have the administrative ability to organise a permit to march with the NSW police.

Oh the pain, the pain.
 
The most sickening part was that poor little 6 year old kid who was interviewed on the news.
There he was spouting nonsense that his deluded father had obviously drummed into him.
For heaven's sake let little children enjoy their innocence.
Don't subject them to stressful adult situations.

Hey mate, you seem pretty serious about all the fine detail stuff.
Barnier made mention on Saturday of Wests Ts making a 3 million dollar profit.
Do you know what they did differently to generate this?
I mean the upward trajectory on-field, signing of high profile players etc would boost membership.
And I guess that would feed into greater sponsorship.

But is that it, or did the new board go out bin diving and collect a bunch of cans for the 10c machine ?

A winning succesful team is what this forum and the majority of the fan base wants.
The only thing the majority of the fan base is unaware of is the disruptive politics HBG provide...most are only interested in footy

WA raised concerns with police a crowd at the club entrance could upset employees and patrons and as such the organisers had no problems with abandoning that idea
