HBG, Independent Directors Sacked

To me that is a much fairer and more realistic agenda to push at this point of time.
I get the impression you don’t mind Daniel Paton. Am I totally off the mark or is there some truth to this ?
Daniel Paton is a patsy. No one is given any autonomy to make decisions in the best interests of the club.

How would anyone know what Daniel really thinks if he is handcuffed by HBG.

Please...this club is run by a Wests Magpies circle jerk representing about 500 geriatrics.

The "go shove it, we own 90%" attitude towards fans is disgraceful.

You are forming this opinion without knowing if the mindset has changed or if there has been a shift in who is really behind the decision making.
I believe PVL’s recent involvement willl force a change in the mindset and a shift in who is really behind making the decisions.
Time will tell,

The comments that come from Dennis about a potential Wests Magpies have since been quashed by PVL.
There was more chance of HBG acquiring Disneyland than there was of the Wests Magpies ever returning at NRL level.
Apart from that the only other possible Magpie agenda is them remaining as the name of our feeder (NSW Cup) team.
As I’ve previously stated I don’t think it is unreasonable for our NSW Cup team to remain as Wests Magpies for another couple of years, there is no doubt it will change and be called Wests Tigers before too long, that is inevitable.
Apart from those two topics, what other Magpie agendas are we talking about ?
Common sense tells us any issue with the colours on our jersey can easily be resolved, haven’t we always had jerseys that are predominantly orange or predominantly black ? To me that’s a non issue and I find it very hard to believe it is a major issue with anyone.
The home ground topic is surely obvious to everyone that for the good of the club we need to push our focus more and more towards Campbelltown and eventually play most of our home games there, but at least few games per season at Leichhardt Oval are also extremely important t and I can’t see that changing anytime soon either.
I am not across what I understand as Richo doing some deal for us to continue playing games out of Leichhardt Oval for the next 15 years, but my immediate thoughts are - Will the demographic of our supporters justify laying any games out of Leichhardt Oval in 11-15 years time ?
As long as the crowds at LO sell out or have more attendance than CS it would be a pathetic business decision to reduce games there, besides at the present moment they win more games there something everyone on here will agree is the most important factor.

What board running the show in their right headspace would move games away from where the dollars are, how would that be in the interest of Wests Tigers.

The WT Board answers to HBG. HBG is chaired by Burgess.

Follow the links.

Nothing will change and if it does, it will be under duress. Waiting for this whole thing to explode.

70+ years olds don't change their opinions. I know many and even in the face of facts, they dig in harder. It is not a factual discussion for these people. It is purely emotional and nostalgic. You are a prime example.

You’ve answered your own question

The board running the show

Read again, I’m sayjng fans are expecting HBG to pour money into Wests Tigers, but not have any say in big decisions.
It is not realistic as anyone who pours money into a club will ensure they have a say in big decisions.
The reasoning being given is we have not been successful on the rugby league field, so they don’t have any right to be involved in big decisions because of it, but if we become successful they will be allowed to have their say ?
Oh please just stfu mate, youre talking out your ass more and more every day.

No-one here expects them HBG to have NO input..

What we do expect is that they represent the best interest of THE WESTS TIGERS.. and not the Wests Magpies.. I don't know why the concept is so hard to grasp...

If they keep pushing magpies agendas, then yeah you will get people who completely want them gone - which I am sure you can agree is completely fair, considering we are the Wests Tigers and not the Wests Magpies... Would you agree?

Can you not see the issue is that comments have been made in the first place?

It's like sleeping with your best mates wife then just pretending it never happened because your mate had a word to you.

Grasp the situation mate.

I admire that there are still posters willing to even engage with this fake fan. However I really wish no one would reply to him. He will soon get bored of his double standard moronic perspective

One man’s comments and actions or a few peoples comments and actions do not speak for everyone involved in a large organisation past and present.
