Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

He is not squeaky clean in this whole matter, I cannot believe how many people cannot see it.
I doubt he is squeaky clean but I'm not going to make any assumptions about what he has or has not done, nor his intentions to see his full term when first signing without more than hearsay.
But speaking of hearsay I have been told that he was a bloody good administrator but generally a bit of an arrogant prick who got a lot of people off side.
Some might say that attitude is needed to instill change. Some would refute that. Prick or not he was getting results and being a prick is a long way from mismanaging funds for personal gain.
IF he is guilty of such things, I'm glad his gone but personally I have my doubts regarding his guilt (or innocence).

He comes across as extremely arrogant.
I have a lot more information about him coming from people who have dealt with him directly and others who have a very close association with people who have dealt with him directly and none have any good words to say about him.
Anyway he’s no longer part of Wests Tigers so it’s no point flogging a dead horse.

Everything is just alleged at this point & you're just blindly backing HBG when history shows that they're malicious & the best interest of WT's is low on their list of priorities.
I’m not backing anyone, I’m saying the hysteria surrounding the whole situation is way over the top and many people who want to involve themselves in the situation are doing so with very little knowledge or factual information.
The recent Michael Chammas interview discussed what he knows and was very evenly balanced, not favouring one side or the other.
One of the people I know very well who attended last Saturday’s protest and is not a part of this forum, didn’t even know that Wests Ashfield funded the Balmain junior reps until I recently explained it to him.

You really are a beacon of all that is good…

Oh great one! At what point can we be hysterical?...when they have destroyed the club to the point where the NRL takes over? Because that's the next step...it's the end of the line.

F Chammas and the horse he rode in on. The club is in the hands of fools.

The factual information we do have
- A independent governance review took place in 2023 which decided that in order for the Wests Tigers to become a long term successful entity an independent board was needed & that the Holman Barnes Group were not fit to govern a Rugby League club. This was done after consulting many other notable minds in Rugby League including former players & previous administrators at the club.
- Shane Richardson & the Board made a 3 million dollar profit this season & announced long term stadium plans with redevelopments coming for Leichhardt & Campbelltown.
- The club was finally stable on & off the field with our playing squad locked in & membership numbers at the club on the rise.
- Jarome Luai was ready to commit to the club long term & remove the get out clauses from his contract.
- The board (including HBG representatives) stated that every decision that was made was met with little resistance & every single vote was made unanimously.
- HBG citing communication issues decided to blow up the board which eventually led to one of the best administrators in the history of Rugby League resigning from his position.
- HBG had to then reach out to the very people that they had just sacked to see if they would entertain returning to the club at board level. (Remember they had just sacked these people a week ago due to 'communication issues')

And also took down the video/statement of accusations against the independent board

The common sense is trying to fix the root of the issue before just upending everything.

In all your rabble,
You've not provided any comment of substance to justify the (often fabricated)
credentials of the HBG Board members, or as to why their actions and the members themselves are beyond Question.

What are your thoughts on Allan Fallahs recent public comments, Considering his position within the Organisation that owns of the Wests Tigers?

And who made reference to '25 years of war' Some of us have been around longer than that,
and can guarantee you that the magpies in fighting has been going on a lot longer than that!
You talk of looking forward and not looking back, that's just a cop out for you not being able to justify the Shite that has plagued this organisation and it's leadership forever.

With all the constant infighting, Revolving Chair position, multiple CEO's over a very short amount of time in recent years and knifing of fellow Board members at the HBG,
What common sense can you possibly provide that would lead us to believe this schmozzle won't continue - You literally have zero basis to make such outlandish claims...

You were right though, Common sense isn't real common
especially amongst the HBG (or whatever they've called themselves in any fashion they take
- Wasn't last Week, Wasn't year before last, Hasn't been for the last 10 years - And more than likely the 100 or so before that.

You blind faith is misplaced - I don't know who you are (And don't really care)
but I refuse to believe even you're that stupid
(Despite your posts doing their best to argue that)

Fridgey, you can be hysterical whenever you like ...
Go on son, chuck the toys. It’ll brighten the arvo up no end 👍
