"The Professor" is named on a carriage.

Turns out, one specific V/Line Sprinter railmotor, unit number 7012, is officially named Roy Higgins.

This name is displayed on the side of the train, typically as a plaque or part of the livery, honouring the legendary Australian jockey.
Other V/Line Sprinter trains are also named after notable Victorian sportspeople, such as Lionel Rose, Kirstie Marshall, and Louise Dobson.
