I don’t think many worry about the score during trials, but in many ways it does reflect the quality of the teams.
Madden has to be a much better player than we let go, given his added experience and the pivots he’s played with?

True, it's just a trial but I have a dislike for easts with their bottomless salary cap and forever strong roster, getting flogged by them is as welcome as a blind mullet in a swimming pool.

Not exactly sure how the game will go, but I always find it a bit puzzling fielding a team practically full of kids.

I get it's awesome for them to get a go, I just don't know how beneficial it is for them if they get flogged.

Still, it is always good to see young players people here talk about. 😊

Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing how Maks, Andrews and Godinet go.

Not great, but it gives us a chance to see how we go with a more genuine 9 such as Tristan Hope on our bench.
Hope looks to have bulked up a bit since last season, so hopefully he’s in for a big season.

They’ve got the talent bro . A lot of “names” in that roosters side for sure. Most were fringe players / bench players .
Interestingly Kit will be the one to lead the pack . It’s genuinely time for him to step up .
And the backs to be honest , are probably more talented the roosters . They’re just kids so it could simply come down to the roosters have an older more mature side .
The talent is definitely there though . Makasini , Andrews , Luke Lualilii , Tavana eve Mason.
Will be interesting to see .
