That’s what Hope is for . An old school 9 to play first drop and give Heyward some breathing time . I think Heyward goes well past him by the end of the year and is consistently in the 19 for first grade .
Also on that note I think Mason has played well out of lock . His tackles are strong , he’s been energetic and offered width . I really like him there .
