Well ..according to the Wests Tigers Faithful boys … the WT are about to pay Bula $3m for three years … i don’t think the Bulldogs will be matching that

I think they mentioned 950k for this season, 2027 and 2028 which I am sort of ok with as it builds solidarity within our squad.
I’m far from convinced he is value at 950k per season, but giving him a chance to prove his is until the end of the 2028 season sounds ok.

An absolute gun.
Big, strong and mobile, he has long been touted as a star in the making and unfortunately got poached off us by the Storm a couple of years back.
He is only 19 and looks likely to be a regular in the Storm top 17 this season.
The worst part is he’s exactly the type of player we currently need to complement our forward pack.

I understand they are saying it will be a three year contract extension through 27-29…. Separately they are trying to get more money to increase his deal for this year from Bird’s money when freed up … I understand he was on $700k this season …maybe he will get another $100k this year ? Total guess there ..could be more ..

They have bid against themselves look like … having said that… the salary cap is likely to increase from 2028 with the new TV deal … hope there is no indexing …

If we sign him for longer than the end of 2028 and Jack Attard or Logan Brookes prove to be better players, we will be in a tricky situation.
