Benji was playing some weird hybrid sport today with half our coaching staff so chances are nobody was watching any of the clubs matches today.

Appalling from the club and HBG for organising this Mickey mouse charity fundraiser on a day when we've got matches on
Game was at Concord BB not long after the hybrid charity game so I’m sure Benji, Heigno as transition coach & Gallant would have watched.

Wests won 6 tries to 3
They should not be letting any Ron Massey Cup team score any tries against them.
Max Taotua is a beast who is an attacking weapon, but needs plenty of work on his defence.
I hope our coaching staff are working hard with he and his brother, particularly on their effort areas as they can both become very good NRL players with a bit of fine tuning.

Well if Massey teams shouldnt score any tries, the Storm have a big problem. They played their Massey feeder team, Mounties, yesterday, and Mounties scored 7 tries. They led 38-16 with 5 minutes to go but Melbourne got 2 tries in the closing minutes to narrow the gap to 38-26.

I reckon Melbourne Storm are now lacking depth, first time in a long while.

They went through the guys they’ve lost and have unavailable on the Fox coverage. Boy they’ll be doing well if they run top 4 this year.
Like most teams, they are still ok with their top 17, but very thin after that.
I think this is where we have caught up and gone past a lot of other teams as we now have quite a few positions where if we have someone out the replacement player is just as good.

Richo spoke about it early on and brought in a few guys who he got questioned about due to family ties, too early to say but maybe some shrewd business.

Hopefully the club sends out news on who has made the final cut for the NSW Cup & Jersey Flegg squads this week. Won't hold my breath though the way club comms on pathways have been this pre-season.

No info but based on trials, I reckon the following will be on NSW Cup contacts ...

Max Liles
Ieti Samuelu
Josese Lanyon
Vaka Aho
Bailey Hodges

These are in addition to NRL development and T&T players.

One I hope we still have on the books but has been unseen in the trials is prop Elijah Mataale.

For Jersey Flegg, a few faces I have picked up from the trials who are all Flegg eligible ...

Logan Deininger
Byron Laupepa
Archie Duncombe
Jeremiah Leatigaga
Heith Pritchard
Ryder Huth
Riley Oitmann
Xavier Tauaifaiga
James Marriott

Plenty of players with Wests Tigers association playing for Roosters NSW Cup team against the Warriors this afternoon.
They have Junior Tupou and Tommy Talau in the starting line up.
I assume Junior Pauga must be in the 19 for their NRL squad.
Starting at 5/8 is Lachlan Dooner who is from the Campbelltown region, but poached by the Roosters at a young age.
On the bench is Jaxson Rahme and their 18th man is our former Jersey Flegg player William Malloy.

Talau looks like he did his ACL. Looked devastated
