2026 bold predictions

My bold prediction is that the tigers need to win round 27 to make the top 8... and that Penrith will be in a battle for Minor premiership and there is the potential of them resting players for that match

I think Eels will have a good year, been underperforming for some time.

Moses x Pezet combo should be something special, even if only for just one year.

Moses will have a great year.
I expect them to make the 8
Just gotta keep Moses healthy.

Newcastle and Dragons - bad years ahead.
Both teams just seem to be missing something.
I think they'll be battling it out for the spoon.
South's thereabouts also.

We need to really make a statement and not lose to these teams we should beat. We need to play tough and just take the game to everyone, no matter if it's Melb or the Dragons. Intensity from the whistle. Pressure, entire game.

We will beat the Titians in R15.
If we dont beat them at LO this year. I dont think we’ll make the 8.
The Titians have beaten us 5 out of the 7 times we have played them..and they have a stronger side this year. Loosing to the Titians has really drained my confidence in the team over the last decade. We haven’t beaten them at Cbus Super Stadium since 2017.

Parramatta top 4

To drop down

Sharks

Isaiya Katoa to have a massive year and him and Herbie goes bananas

On the rise

Penrith - Roosters to push for minor premiership

Galvin cracks Under pressure at 7 is moved to 6

Tigers off to Vegas in 27

Parra will be interesting to see. IMHO it will be the truth of Jason Ryles.
The Lomax saga could kill their season and it definately weakens their backline.
Pezet may energise their backline, but will he do anything Brown did not do?

We will see Parra lift slightly, but I suspect we will also see what Ryles isn't good at.

Re the Bottom:
Newcastle lost their forward pack, while gaining a spine.
Dragons will get somewhere below the top 8, but they haven't signed anyone significant for 2026.
I suspect Flanagan wants to build for 27/28.
Titans? Why aren't they higher on the ladder...

Either way I suspect we will lift from bottom 4 to 9th.

Yes, I have these blokes going well too.
When firing they have a lot of points in them.

How about Flanagan admitting his team can’t win the comp. Is he right? Of course. But is it something you admit? No Goddamn way. You set out to win every match, and don’t acknowledge that you can’t win the comp until it’s no longer mathematically possible. At least publicly. I’d say they’re guaranteed bottom 4 with that kind of resigned thinking.

If he wasn’t the media’s darling he’d be under massive pressure

And to think some on the forum were pissed we didn't sign him up as coach, if we did, I doubt our roster would look as promising as what it is now.
