...or somewhere in between?A few people have now suggested Maka at fullback and it’s an interesting thought as it might not work, but it could be highly successful.

Does he have the cardio in him ?If Bula signed elsewhere I would trial Maka at FB first - he will end up on a mil a season at some point so it might as well be at FB
I would shift Bula to the wing and have Maka go to FB

Does this mean Maccas has signed on for a sponsor?Maka is only signed to the end of 2027
I think it’s more likely Makasini will play as an edge backrower than at fullback.
We’ll likely only have him for a couple more years so hopefully that’s in the centres.
Running the logo in the shortsDoes this mean Maccas has signed on for a sponsor?
I think there is a perfect sponsorship opportunity. We're commonly called the Tigerpies. Why doesn't Harry's Cafe de Wheels hop on board, with the iconic tiger pies on their menu (beef pie/mashed potato/mushy peas/gravy) yumDoes this mean Maccas has signed on for a sponsor?

Maybe I'm remembering it different, when Turuva played fullback we lost so much attacking threat, especially down our right edgeMaka is a centre/wing, id prefer move turuva to fullback who has atleast shown us he is capable of playing there, infact, i thought he looked more dangerous than bula
Did anyone say that about Tedesco? I remember some talk about how injury prone he was but that's it.It looks like several experts on this forum did not learn the Tedesco and Papenhuyzen lessons:
- his running is awful, let's play him at the centre, he is a has-been, a red book, swap him for Moylan or ...
- hi is too skinny, he is not ready...
Honestly I agreed with your suggestion earlier.A few people have now suggested Maka at fullback and it’s an interesting thought as it might not work, but it could be highly successful.

Turuva might been a bit more damaging running the footy but the team overall looked way more clunky with him at fullback. When Bula came back our attack noticeably improved
PNG Chiefs in 28 could be in Moses' mind, tax free $$$.I guess we can now put a line through the widely discussed theory that it was only the Bird money holding up Bula signing the extension
My latest theory…
It’s between Tigers and Perth Bears ..they are the only teams that will pay $900k plus
Uncle Isaac gunna take all the time he has to keep getting them to bid each other up. Don’t expect a signing for another two months …
Have they officially released him yet? I haven’t seen anything. Not arguing that he’s not being released. He definitely is. But what’s the hold up? BBC have reported he’s signed with Leeds.I guess we can now put a line through the widely discussed theory that it was only the Bird money holding up Bula signing the extension

We're still waiting for Jock Madden to be added to the website player profiles, still waiting on NSW Cup & Jersey Flegg final squads, still waiting on the new make-up of our Board ... we'll probably hear about Bird mid-season!Have they officially released him yet?
