Tank a few games and in the last game I think was against South's playing at The 8th wonder a win takes us to semis he starts dropping off tackles to get out of his contract to go to the Broncos
And at one time behind the goal post Heino just giving it to him with both barrels
I think in that game Sheens took him off in the first half and had him sit on the sideline for the rest of the game.

I remember now, it was as if he had no feeling in his arms and couldnt lift them.
Thew old dungeon toilets at the north end....where the trough was nothing more than a groove on the floor

Even when the toilets overflowed and it was ankle deep, the dunny was still way too good to bear his name.
Exactly the same for me. If we are watching a game with an ex Tigers player my kids ask whether we like them or not. The response always depends if they left their contract early or not, so didn’t like Marty, Moses, Matterson etc

Wouldn't have been that bad if they kept a decent coat of paint or similar on it to seal the surface better. It was basically a toxic environment stinking of soaked in piss and a few coloured urinal cakes.

Would Liam Knight just released from Hull to return to Australia for compassionate reasons be a decent depth signing for 12 months ?
I know we now look to have decent depth in our middles, but I think his experience and playing style would come in very handy to assist our young emerging forwards in NSW Cup and he would not be without a chance of playing some NRL for us if his form was good enough.
He’s a big body who is very fit for a man of his size and has very good hands and ball playing ability.
I think he would fit in very well as a forward leader for our NSW Cup team alongside the likes of Tony Sukkar who I can see moving to the middle on a more permanent basis, the ever improving Lachlan Broederlow, Kit Laulilli and Vaka Aho.
This would allow the likes of Christian Taupau-Moors and Archie Duncombe to continue their development playing Jersey Flegg and really earning a NSW Cup call up if they are playing well enough.
I think Archie Duncombe is similar in playing style to Liam Knight and I think he is a player who has flown under the radar a bit in regards to his potential, so I think it would be beneficial having a tough, experienced player in Knight to mentor players like he and Christian Taupau-Moors in particular.
I think he signs with either Souths, Roosters, Dragons, Newcastle or Gold Coast who all look to be lacking middle forward depth.

Woods, as captain... Dude he was a forward.
It was seriously brainless, by us and him. Guy's only smarter then Willie Mason.
Sending up a big guy like Woods to argue with the ref is dumb. Plus Woods was a pussy underneath, would back down and barely get the point...
Look the guy seemed like he just wanted to play footy, discovered board politics and acted like a deer in headlights... then signed up with a money grabbing bastard.
For all these reasons:
Api is a good captain choice. He would watch/be involved in almost every play.
Luai too is a good captain choice. He has heart and if were banking on Benji, we need to bank on heart.
Terrell May would be a good captain choice, except his Brother is going to go off the rails and I have no idea what were going to do.

We have 3 top 30 spots to fill and it appears they will only be filled with minimum wage contracts, so it’s not as if we will be getting anyone notable.
I don't think we will get anyone better but I'd rather reward someone who has been here all preseason than bring in Knight. If you can pick up Knight on a Train and Trial or a Reggie's contract then I'm not against him at all.

I would suggest we probablyaren’t getting anyone externally…Richo said as much apparently when he was still here … inexpect three upgrades from inside the club… Bunty is still on a train and trial and he is our starting prop… probably deserves an upgrade right?
