Jahream Bula #269

As you are free to do, though you then go on to point out both his and the club's deficiencies in bringing him along at WT. I don’t see him as a retain at all costs player, but he has not reached his ceiling and has developed in a threepeat spoon and unstable board environment.

Is there someone better that is attainable that you can suggest, or who is currently in house at the club to fill his role next year?
Sure he would look better if the team surrounding him played better
Correct - he is not a retain at all cost player ,when his form of late has shown he is doing the job of any garden variety fullback on half the price

if and its a big IF,think St G will put up big $s and a ride in a chopper
There is no rush, Bula /moses have all the time in the world to work it out
its only the goldfish running out of oxygen in confined spaces that want a done deal ,yesterday
WA n PNG would be stupid if they didn't ask, plenty to play out yet
If Bulla wanted to stay and is not lead by the nose by his manager he would have signed already , Mosses would be able to make a deal with the club on the terms Bulla wants , new deal , x many years , x amount dollars , waiting on dragons or others to throw big money is just a cop out , if bulla said il,sign on a new deal 2,3,4 years for 900 to 1 million it would have been done , there is something else holding him back I feel and he won’t be a tiger going forward , Dogs clearing some cap space ,

Its something i have no control over, so it won't faze me either way it goes

The Tigers have a very good insurance policy in Jack Attard. Bula has an option in the clubs favour albeit an overpay we need to exercise it until end of 2027 as he’s only 19. There are no good fullback options out there. Tracey will be 31 by then. It’s the only play if no extension is negotiated.

So what’s the hold up on dogs announcing his signature or us announcing he won’t be at the club? Very quiet on media front as well.
There is a very strong rumour going around for awhile now they are trying to offload Burton

And today one of the commentators said the dogs cannot keep paying Burton 1 million a season if he is going to play centre that would make alot of sense

No Bula contract because no Burton money $$$$

I dont believe tigers should be paying 900k to 1 million (overs) for Bula, not worth it.
Makasini we need to secure long term

What's "worth it"?

If say Paps came out of retirement and asked for 1.2m.. Sure he would be worth it compared to Bula.
Bula is who we have. We can tell him to take a hike, but then it's Heath Mason taking up our fullback position.

Yea, Bula is overs. We either pay 1m for a 800k fullback or pay 150k for a guy like Mason... who is worth 150k.

But leaves our team really really short on the field.

We should sign Bula but sign him for 1-2 years. He wants the shorter option, meh give it too him.
Gives us time to hunt down a replacement.

so Bula is just siting back waiting for the dogs to unload Burton, plenty of time up his sleeve

1 more icecream and its bed time . Paps is damaged goods and is /would not be a big money player if he r backflipped from retirement

Honestly don't know but find it very strange Bula has not agreed to terms

He knows everything about the Tigers you would know if you wanted to stay and two offers made to him chose A or B

Starting to fell like a normal Moses Tigers deal just playing out

But Ciraldo Burton and another guy on the football department are all related to each other so fun times ahead

And the guy I know is related to them but I have not seen him for awhile so no gossip

I can’t see attard been ready for 1st grade in the next 1-2 years , he is a light wait and his taking of high kicks does not come up to 1st grade standard
