Personally,I suspect the deal with Dogs is done and dusted for 27,subject to the expiration of WT club option in April
Our internal problems gave Moses the ammunition he needed to push Bula out
And of course Gus has never spoken to him..even when he attended a Dogs game last year!
All adds up
Our sole decision is whether we take up 1 year option for 27,which is around $$were offering for a 2 year deal
I would do as we need to buy some time..
..and Id luv to see the look on Moses face losing his comission!
And if we go well...anything cld happen

TLDR:

Play hard to get a contract boost.
Yes we have seen that.

However that's not what were seeing out of Bula at all!

I suspect we let Bula get signed by the wrong agent. Issac Moses is pushing Bula to get above 1m, heck IM may even be thinking he is doing the best for his client.

However Bula came from Basketball. I suspect something else is going on. If he wanted big money he would be trying to put in big effort. I instead believe it's like how other players put it, they take the "Fun" out of football.
 
Wild idea,but perhaps offer exchange of Bula for Lomax effective immediately(after taking up our $900k option for 27)
Both are arguably equally committed to themselves,but we get 2 years from a current and proven international(who cld surely play fullback),and is looking for less $$ than Bula is asking..who currently isnt in the top 12 fullbacks in the NRL
And we fortuitously lose Moses.an ongoing problem,which is not a bad thing..
Id throw in Godinet as well as a bonus to seal the deal
Im so over Moses dictating terms to our club
You just know were gonna get screwed over again,so get on the front foot WTS

Will Kennedy I heard took a lowball offer of 350k.
Heck you still have Gutho fronting for the Eels.

Bula is a good player, he would be at the bottom of the list above, beating: tracey, Kennedy, Gray and Sloan.

We have a barrell to our head, pay overs for an 800k fullback or let him go. The problem being we can probably find a player like Tracey and hire them for 550k or more... Were still loosing value on the field.

^if that's the case sign Bula for 2 years on 1m or more. But just 2 years. Set up his replacement and kick him to the curb. Again our biggest mistake, Hiring Galvin who is with Issac Moses. This lead to Bula signing with IM, this will lead to more of our players signing with IM and average/good players will ask for superstar salaries!

The player manager only tweaks the strings , its the player that has the final say
No doubt the clubs actually educate the players to their rights now days to instruct their managers to the clients wants etc,not just go forward blindly,
