It was a horrid spine when they were at thier peak a few years ago … now they’re past their prime … it’s the worst spine in the comp … yuck . I can’t believe manly are fielding those 3 in 2026. Anyways … it’s good to see things come full circle . I remember how upset we all were when they kept recruiting tigers players . Now it’s a case of most of them are the ones John west rejects …

There’s a rumour the large boys are coming back here …. I think if we do get Onitoni back it will be to play centre or fullback . I mean everyone needs good dummy halves , so of course we will grab his brother.

Large at fullback I would take over Bula I think he has a higher level or two in him

Large and Big Mac are good friends played in the centres together for Australian rugby would be great to have both the Large boys back fill the team with brothers

I know right, every club the guy gets involved with ends up sinking quucker than the Titanic. Yet heaps of clubs keep turning to him for his roster. Next clinent of his to get punted imo will be Flanaghan from saints.

Boggles my mind, if they punt him 3 games in, im assuming they went into the season thinking about sacking him. If its a knee jerk reaction as you say which i totally agree with then they just reacted without any forward planning. So this is what it looks like from the outside. Ill admit it takes some doing to appear more incompetent than HBG but Manly have done it.

I don’t think so. Losing 3 consecutive home games at the start of the season sets you a long way back. His team selections haven’t helped either. They could do with a fresh voice and ideas. Hopefully they go with Ennis so he can piss off out of the commentary box.

I don't mind Foran. I don't like that roster at all.

They'll come last.

I think they had to sack him if they want Willie Peters or someone else would get him

And I believe Willie coach lower grades at Manly but if I needed a caretaker for this year I would ask Kevin Walters or see what Brad Arthur would be willing to do with his England job


It could get worse for Manly they mite go after O'Brien and there was a Jason Taylor rumour going around last year

Their roster is putrid. They have a couple of guns like Koula and Olaku’atu and a prodigy in Walsh, but outside of that…An aging Turbo, and a lukewarm Fogarty. They need a massive overhaul.

Agreed. As bad as the worst of the Tigers rosters.

The problem I see is- most of their promising young players are already mercenaries.

Where is that clubs progression plan?
