Watson is almost 30 himself. Timeline just doesn’t make sense, he’d want a multi year deal

I think you are on the money - I also don't think that Madden came here to play second fiddle to AD either. If Benji is the coach I think he is - he will have told Jock that AD is the 7 until he proves he is the best fit for the side. I would suggest that the same message has been given to AD in a more subtle manner - we need you where you are best for the team etc. Latu is probably more about being eased back into the side to recover etc - but the long term plan for you is to be ...

Benji needs to tread a fine line between creating competition and animosity between the players. At the moment the noise around the playing group is good - but I'm sure we've all played in teams where ego kills team performance.

We play the Knights off a 6 day turnaround compared to the Knights’ 7 day turnaround, the Broncos off a 6 day turnaround compared to the Broncos’ 8 day turnaround, and the Raiders off a 5 day turnaround compared to the Raiders’ 6 day turnaround.

Fortunately, all these games are at home against out of Sydney teams who will be required to travel.

Someone has obviously had a long chat to Sukkar in the off season and explained that forwards have to run the ball.
He was regularly having 4 touches for 20 or 30 metres. He had a game where he went 30 minutes for zero metres.
This year he's a different player and is finally using his size to pick up dirty yardage.

It's good to see. I've been critical of him in the past because he hasn't been involved and didn't make any impact when he did have the ball. He's running with more intent and desire now which is great to see

I don’t get people wanting to move AD , he and luai look great together , madden does not run the ball yes he kicks deep but for me not much better than AD , maddens defence is not as good as AD , we have 4 1/2s , and benji has to pick two , luai locks down one spot , the other 3 are fighting for one spot , we can only carry one one the bench, latu will get that spot , because benji needs to keep his brothers happy , it’s just the why things go

He's there to do the less glamourous things that get us the win. AD is erratic, and is almost exclusively a ball runner. As a ball runner he can move to any number of positions.

Jock must remain our halfback for the rest of the season, 3 man of the match performances in a row in my view. We have desperately needed the half that does the boring stuff well, when all we ever seem to have is runners.

Madden is also the best goal kicker in our first grade squad.
We have one halfback and four 5/8s at the club. Let the 5/8s battle it out.

He's there to do the less glamourous things that get us the win. AD is erratic, and is almost exclusively a ball runner. As a ball runner he can move to any number of positions.

Jock must remain our halfback for the rest of the season, 3 man of the match performances in a row in my view. We have desperately needed the half that does the boring stuff well, when all we ever seem to have is runners.

Madden is also the best goal kicker in our first grade squad.

How did he get 3 man of the match, when he has only played twice.
So on another point he’s there only for his kicking and goal kicking, I think AD don’t a good job before him , AND if madden doesn’t run the ball it’s going to put a lot of pressure on luai ,
