He was ceo of the Mariners for years, that would have involved roster management

Yep right no formal offers can be made, however we all know agents have these "3rd parties" who are their mouthpiece to other clubs and agreements are in place ready to be signed once formalities can begin.

His role at the Doggies is a Corporate Events Manager in the football Operations. He is part of the SMT there and would be across many decisions ...I've known him for 12 years...I have no reason not to believe what he told me 2 months ago...and going on whats in the media so far and the media speculation regarding Bula and the Dogs, it sounds like he is right on the money with his info.

Maybe, it's possible, but I can tell you he was hired specifically to expand the club's commercial and sponsorship network, same as why we wanted him. (I was involved with some work with Mariners). He is excellent.

From what I saw, Ken Schembr and Matt Simon were more direct with roster stuff. It's just not really his thing. Unless he is mixing it up now, not sure. In the past, no, very little roster management experience.

He was promoted to Head of Football around September last year. Not sure if Shauns doing both roles but Gallant & Benji would be the main guys in charge of roster management atm.

Poor old Isaac is having a really tough time at moment isn’t he. O’Brien recently sacked, Seibold sacked and Flanno on the verge on being sacked.

Running out of suitors and leverage for Bula now that Tracey has re-signed and Drinkwater is Dragons bound. Looks like a number of clubs are getting sick of his games and power grabs.

Just my opinion, but no one in corporate events would have a freaking clue what's going on in recruitment, especially when it relates to a player who shouldn't be negotiating.

Not that I believe it, but if it were true that would only reinforce the need for reform as far as Managers go. Coach and player managers should be completely different groups.

I think Flanno and Payten are his last two head coaches.
 
Can confirm the player I was chatting to has not heard anymore re Bula to dogs since the Parramatta game, that might be a good sign hopefully
however according to them dogs are likely to sign Aaliyah Bula to development deal.
