You joke about this, but you wonder how much this might have weighed on his mind. If the Dogs were flying this year, he might have split. But they are going backwards. There’s not much appeal of choosing them over us.

This team has been lucky with injuries. Look at Parra and the Broncos. No excuses with defence even if players are out. They all did the preseason together.

I grew up reading the late Alan Clarkson’s columns in SMH. Wonderful journalist, accurate and honesty personified, popular with fans , players and officials.. The current group of journos need to have a good look at themselves, the less we talk about them the better. They do very little to enhance the game!!

Mike Gibson, Geoff Prentice, Clarkson Ian Heads and a couple others that escape my memory ran rings around the rubbish jurnos of today. Of course it was a craft than building a story unlike now

It’s another one we will never know for sure …as I doubt either side is telling us … I ve said before thoogh… the time for Moses to do some skiting about the dollars he got was in his media puppet exclusive on Sunday ..and the dollars from that article appeared vague to me

It’s further complicated by the ratchet clause … if he is starting at over a million now on the cap ..than i would be unhappy…because that could be up 20-25 percent in 2028

The Drags are the most desperate team in the comp…probably would have paid $2million… not a good yardstick

Who knows mate ? The ratchets is the biggest issue for me ..particularly with what he is starting out on … What are your other concerns …get out clauses after Year 2.? Might work out ok if one of the young guys is up to it by then?

Stoked with this re-signing. Lets hope the ratchets are reasonable. Sky is the limit for Bula and we are a much better side with him on the field.
