Really, a team that had lost 7 in a row? We have conceded 96 points in 2 weeks.
You'd have to be blind freddy to not realise that our team isn't playing for or with Jarome.
If the captain is being paid $1.2 million, he should be leading from the front. Jock Madden exceeded Jarome in every stat on Sunday.

Look Jarome has been disappointing at times. I don't think anyone could argue he has been a 1.2 million dollar player, but "blind freddy" could see Storm weren't going to lose that game on the weekend when you factor everything in. I'm really not sure how you come to the conclusion our side isnt playing for or with Luai.
3 tries did come down Luai's edge despite him having a bench prop as his backrower.

Ok,
So my second night in Moresby the place I was in was burglarized as they stole the TV...
To which my local host whacked the theif in the face, causing him to drop said TV, which he ducked to pick up..
I was resoldering the TV power plug.
The night life is there, but you don't go bar hopping. You go directly to a club or some venue. You don't go out, you stay at the one place or get transport to the next place.
You can go to the markets in the mornings/day, buy buai and stuff from the street stalls.
You will be watched, the locals will get your pattern of movements. Then they will steal from you.
The locals will know EVERY SINGLE THING YOU DO!
Look they will be cashed up. They will do outings to places that are going to be incredible.
Lots of flying to islands and it will be interesting.
But they will be locked in.

The locals sound nuts. Im sure the Beatlemania the players will experience will wear thin real fast. At least here they can walk down the street.

The hysterics in here are crazy.
Might not be worth 1.2M but absolute stupidity getting rid of him now. He’s been involved in almost all of our tries in the last 2 weeks and without him we’re probably kept scoreless.

He gets the ball most of the time when it leaves the forwards. Why wouldn't he be somewhere involved in the tries.
But he doesn't score the tries AND there are just not enough tries.
He is a mediocre run of the mill 5/8.
He has better success making money and headlines.

I'm stoked they've extended the May's, Bula and Turuva, and chances are they wouldn't have been able to do so with Luai taking up so much cap. Not to mention it could possibly contribute to upgrading or keeping players like Makasini, and others could have breakouts this or next season.
I also bear no grudge against how he is leaving; Moses, Galvin, Matterson, Aloiai... Those were exits to be p1ssed about.
As for comments in the past and hypocrisy, well, I just don't really care. People do and say things they later regret.
The main things for me are that Luai hasn't broken his contract, hasn't had a drawn out saga, and isn't obviously tanking.
All things considered I think it's good business by the tigers.

They replacements can get by if it’s only one spot… but it’s too many to handle.

When the chips are down it's next man up. To let in 96 points in two games is unacceptable and Benji knows it.
Of course it’s unacceptable but blame them (or us for signing them) for not being good enough.
You can’t put their ineptitude on the captain.
