OFFICIAL Jarome Luai - #295

I find it strange that so many forum members are backing a guy who has proven to be a dud and has also shown no loyalty or integrity, and is not true to his word.

He’s had a 66.6% decline since his time at Penrith. The numbers don’t lie.

You can use stats for anything. Luai moved to us in 2025. When simply comparing 2024 vs 2025 Tigers improved and Panthers worsened. Does that mean the Panthers couldn’t cope without Luai and he was the reason for our improvement?

Not many players improve when they come here

What would you like us to do...stop supporting the team?

Here's my pointless stats without any additional context:
Over the last 5 and a bit seasons we have won around 25% more of our games with Luai at the club than without. We have scored 29% more points per game and conceded 13% fewer with Luai at the club than without.

Family is essential to a successful daily and working life. A captain has to set standards, so my concern is with his comment -

“I’m staying, don’t worry, for life. I think when things get hard, people sort of expect you to change, and I’m not that type of guy. I’m here for the long run, and I’m here to turn this club around.”
Mate when I was 8 years old I told my mum I would never drink or smoke. Things change. Do you think it's fair to hold me to that?

No doubt hes helped to improve the culture and commitment
Big part of that is the players whom he has helped to attract to the club..but he was the catalyst to get it all going..not sure Benji cld have done it by himself
But hes past his best by date as a player at $1,2 mill...his work here is done
Contributes very little to current team
