Look clearly Jerome Hugues changed them into a scoring side, but the Bulldogs showed that they were beatable.
Our defense was crap. Total lack of effort from us and we usually turn up against Melbourne.

You reckon ? I thought it would favour our forwards if they can play like they did early in the season …i think if the Tigers win it will be like a 18-14 type score …i don’t think the Tigers have more than 20 points in them right now min any conditions .,.

Rain favors us, we have a dominant forward pack and can grind them down, They don't have a lot of speed and neither do we, so the rain is not going to slow either of us down too much. It will also make those hospital passes Galvin keeps throwing even more difficult to catch.

have to agree with TheEnz rain should be ok for us , we can out muscle them and Galvins passes could cause them head ache, he just lets them rip and in the wet that’s dangerous , grind the game down to our game plan , wet weather calls for plenty of bombs and some grubbers , kick to corners on both sides of the field , last night soo blues kicked off very time to exact spot and bombed pretty much same spot and qld just took it in their stride , we need to move it around with kicks bomb both sides and grubbed both sides , line speed will win this game , team who keeps the other team pinned wins , Tigers 22 dogs 14
From memory last year the Dogs had a few ordinary games in the wet

Don't want to sound all gloom and doom but I believe that it will be season done. 😡
Still a few weeks before we are close to full strength and that loss would almost certainly be a case of leaving our finals run a bit too late. 😢

It's a surreal feeling this season hank, yes, the recent injuries and losses are giving me the shits but it's not as depressing as those spoon seasons when players couldn't get out the door quick enough and the future was bleak.
This season feels different, we may not make the finals again but with all the extensions flooding in it gives you confidence that finally the club is on the improve.

I'm hoping that the drop wasn't just the injuries, but just the general fatigue given our round 1 bye.
With a few back PLUS the refresher from the bye - hopefully we can spark up again. Having our 3 main strike weapons with May, Doueihi and S Fainu out concerns me though.

Yes, that round 1 bye was probably a bigger negative for us than a lot of people would imagine.
Here we are now with 2 byes used up already and with still over half the season to go and only one bye left to refresh between now and season's end.
At the end of this round half the teams in the competition will still have 2 byes up their sleeves and a couple that will have 3 byes to fall back on, a massive advantage for them in my view at least.

Leck, sometimes the stats and balance of the side just don’t add up so I say just call a spade a spade and try to be realistic.
I’ve been a loyal Tiger man for over
65 years but haven’t thought they could win the past 3 games( and successfully followed my judgement) nor do I think they can beat the Dogs, because imo the team balance is still wrong ( due to injuries and positional changes - eg Turuva is definitely not a centre, I’d rather move Luai there and bring in Fainu at 6/ Madden at 7.
But definitely not knocking anyone who says, it’s WT or nothing. And as I always say, I’m happy to be proven wrong. It creates financial opportunities for realists v fanatics. I’ve had a bet on the Dogs tomorrow at 2.40 H2H, which is now into 2.30.
If I’m wrong I’ll be ready for your wrath !

As I said L, I would be happy if they won, irrespective of other considerations, and i certainly am.
