Did you watch him play today ?It's surely to do with he's tiny, keeps getting pushed backwards in most of his hit ups. We lost a lot of momentum from him getting pushed back 15m multiple times. Or him getting out jumped by his opponent a dozen times this season. He's leaving the club in 6 months, we should have no need for him
Sorry but you couldn't be more wrong. In his recent games he was actually very good at making metres out of our end. For a shorter winger, he is very strong and often made significant metres. I didn't see him play but I'm not surprised that he played well. He should have been fullback instead of Mason in NRL and probably is a lot better than Mason in KOE.Did you watch him play today ?
By far the strongest ball runner on the field.
If we are being fair dinkum he is part of our NRL top 13.
I think Luke Laulilli could be a very good centre. He lacks size, but is extremely powerful and is becoming an extremely good tackle buster.I didn't see him play but I'm not surprised that he played well. Well summed up Vicious.I think Luke Laulilli could be a very good centre. He lacks size, but is extremely powerful and is becoming an extremely good tackle buster.
He is a work in progress with his defensive reads, but very strong in one on one defensive contact.
When he receives a quick play the ball he can be good for a scoot as he has decent acceleration. usually we have slow play the balls and he's receiving the ball under pressure. He needs to be able to still make the dirty metres himself, like Skelton can.Sorry but you couldn't be more wrong. In his recent games he was actually very good at making metres out of our end. If he were at the Storm, Panthers, Roosters or Broncos be wouldn't have even played first grade, and wouldn't be close to selection. He has potential, but he's not a winger due to his height. Centre? Maybe, but the smaller centre in the comp. He'd need a few years playing centre in Cup to get his body to a stage that he's ready for a crack at first grade. But that's ok. Debuting at 20-21 is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. We are just despery for outside backs so we don't let out players develop.I think Luke Laulilli could be a very good centre. What are are you talking about? He regularly made the dirty metres. The reason he was dropped was because of his weak defense and fallibility under the high ball. Nothing to do with his runs out of our end. And, also, to suggest that Tavana's dirty metres are better is ridiculous. Anyway, it's all moot as Skelton and Tavana will stay as our wingers now. When he receives a quick play the ball he can be good for a scoot as he has decent acceleration. usually we have slow play the balls and he's receiving the ball under pressure. As do Tavana, Makasini etc.
If we're living from inside out own 40 our backs have failed us.
his last fg game was terrible metres wise for carries out of our endWhat are are you talking about? He regularly made the dirty metres. He was good. Set up a try or 2 and was always a threat.Thank you BWG.
How did Conti go??
who are u talking about ? Luke ?? thought he was one or our best 186 metres is damn good hes also made over 200 metres twice not bad for a undersized winger and only 19his last fg game was terrible metres wise for carries out of our end
Hope you are a good judge Boonboon, what our NRL team would do for a top centre 🤞He was good on the wing but the centre Faingaa was awesome.
Agree and seemed when subs came on we were weak in the middleHard to separate Saukuru, Laulilii, Mason & Mav Geyer for best player. Thought each were dominant especially with the ball & would not surprise if it lands Mav Geyer a spot against the Panthers this week as one of the players Benji uses in his forwards rotation.
Charlie Murray, Bunty, Ethan Roberts & Sukkar were also strong. Probably spurred on knowing Benji was watching from the sideline.
Fa'ainga continues to stand out at this level, this week at right centre with some nice last passes, runs & taking a nice attacking high kick to set up Solo for one of his tries.
And Javon Andrews just looks so classy with ball in hand. It's like he can produce something with each touch of the ball whether running, passing or short kicking.
Big test against top of the table Panthers again this week!

dropping Tavana... harsh !Team list vs Penrith - difficult one this week with all the injuries but here we go!
1. Bula
2. Saukuru ( deserves a go surely )
3. Turuva
4. Herbert ( is he back ? )
5. Skelton
6. Luai
7. Madden
8. May
9. Korisau
10. Pole
11. Sukkar
12. Pearce-Paul
13. Murray
14. Latu
15. Geyer
16. Hunt
17. Hope
18. Roberts
Yeah thought about that, he does deserve to be in the team and I thought he did well with his redemption return. It would just be good to see Saukuru get a crack and I think his size on the edge with his powerful running close to the line might help against the Penrith pack. Maybe some wishful thinking there! 🙂dropping Tavana... harsh !
