Despite his age, I think we are missing Kit Laulilii in NSW Cup atm and was hoping to see Elijah Mataale in Cup this season. Have you guys heard anything about Elijah? He did pre-season with the NRL squad pre-Xmas and hasn't been sighted in team lists anywhere since. Must be injured.

agree on missing Kit. he was really coming into his own last year. no word on Elijah mate sorry.

I can vouch for both Laulilli boys being top class humans off the field also.
There were stages where I doubted their ability to be NRL quality, but after meeting them and seeing their improvement over the past 12 months, I hope they both return to us once their Perth Bears contracts are finished.

This mid season slump seems to be hitting every grade.. Jared. Heywood seems to have been carrying the flegg team as they look like a different team without him.. Duncombe even looks lethargic today… ☹️

And our NSW Cup team will likely suffer the same fate as it’s also a very slow team selected with no speed whatsoever in the forwards and nobody who can cover the backs on the bench.
Team selections to ensure a balanced team line up across all teams needs an urgent review.

The club should be doing stuff like this.

I follow Hawthorn in the AFL and each week the club does a report on how each of the AFL listed players do in the reserves with a quote on each from the coach - what the player has done well & has been asked to work on.

In this instance, we would understand what things in Saukuru the coaches are happy about & areas he is working to improve.

That would be fantastic but could you ever imagine that happening at Tigers. We are lucky to get an injury report..I wish a reporter at one of the tigers pressers would ask Benji why he is not getting picked.

The club has recently appointed Wayne Cousins as its media manager, he loves doing his stuff going from his previous tenure at the club.
