The Wests Tigers' heaviest defeat was a 74-0 loss to the North Queensland Cowboys in Round 22 of the 2023 NRL season.
We came close.

Perhaps we were are saving all of our points for the Titans.

I'm old enough to remember Manly putting 70 on Penrith when tries were worth just three points. 70 - 7 actually.
Penrith have had some horror times too.
Hopefully better times ahead for Wests tigers.

Has there ever been a larger gulf between a full strength team and one with some players out? Souths struggled last year towards the end but kept putting in.

Full strength we look grand final contenders. This lot couldn’t beat an egg. The depressing slide from Sam Fainu and KPP to Mav freaking Geyer and Seyfarth is alarming. Geyer should be state cup depth not starting top grade.

In case you didn’t notice KPP played today

Id say the opposite, this was against a generational team, having a great day at full strength while we were down 7 first graders in a season where rules have changed to reward momentum. That panthers team is too good
Mate even bloody St George put on a better showing than our mob. The Panthers have not thrashed any team to this extent all season.

Why, every single year, are we the team that loses by the largest amount in any game played throughout the season? Are we trying to set some record of most pathetic NRL team? Because if we are, then job done.

Nobody gives up like we do.

Today was a case study on how errors cost points and lack of possession and constant defending saps energy and sets in fatigue. Four errors in the first half led to four tries. We were never coming back from there. Sadly we’ve seen this game many times before.

This isn’t a generational Panthers team.
There are several players in this squad who wouldn’t make their premiership winning teams.
Some of those teams were once in a generation, this one is merely very good.

Only problem that was Penrith prior to the late ninety’s and 2000 we have been disappointing in this area since at least 2012 and no light at the end of the tunnel
