The run home to finals '26

Those losses hurt, but you can’t hold on to them. All teams lose close ones and games they should have won.
I don’t disagree but losing a close one due to wingers air swinging at a ball instead of grounding it or dropping uncontested bombs and a no-pressure pass, has that little bit of extra salt in the wound.

The run home to the finals. We're limping not running.
Finals/home? Since when?
We have a chance to limp into the unfamiliar territory of finals, but it will take a monumental effort, a lot of luck, and no more injuries, or dropped balls.

Those close losses against Brisbane and Souths will almost certainly come back to bite us. And to think those losses were due to basic u/10 errors makes it even more frustration

Pole losing the ball on the first tackle under the post did not help on Saturday either. Good for one a game but that was really expensive. otherwise, a good game from him.

Unless one or two teams start going on a big losing run, I can’t see the top 8 changing too much from what it is now, tbh. Most of those teams are playing well enough to stay there if they win even just 60% of their matches. The only change that I can foresee happening is Melbourne sneaking into 8th place or even 7th at the expense of either the Cowboys or Rabbits, especially considering their F/A is very good for a team running 11th and they still have 2 byes in hand.

We are Buckley’s, another sad ending to a promising start. Why do we expect anything different?

Hate to say this , but our season is over , injuries have crippled us .
But I really hope the club take on board the fact is we don’t have players who can step up to 1st grade.
We really need to strengthen the backrow , with experience players not kids

I think that you are correct, but I haven't given up all hope quite yet, despite our run of injuries. If we manage to jag Averillo early, that glimmer will be somewhat brighter, especially if our injuries abate.

For us to make the 8 we need to either go on a bit of a flukey streak or we need to get a big scalp somewhere and hope results go out way, I firmly believe we will get 9th this year on 12 or even 13 wins due to our horrid for and against

Every season we look back on what may have been and tell ourselves next year we will be better. 🤔

Just part of being a Wests Tigers supporter. 😢

He manages to create at least one clanger a game that costs us dearly, absolute momentum wrecker.

The worst part is when players just shrug it off and say, "oh well."

Personally I will be surprised if we are good enough to hang onto 10th position and being realistic I think we are more likely to finish the season around 12th.

34 geez !
I thought 32 would get 8th spot
we need
cowboys to keep losing
sharks to keep losing
souths to keep losing
Always a worry JT when you start relying on other results. I’m not sure how it’s all going to pan out but I know we must win on Sunday. I think we know what’s going to happen at 4pm today.
AD in, AT in. Let’s hope that gives us the lift we need against a high flying opponent. My main concern is too much expectation in Douehi who’s going to be rusty after his time out.
Let’s hope it just lifts the players around them having those 2 back.

think the Dragons game is the must win mate
if we can beat newcastle up there it is a bonus

I think if we can have luck with injuries for the 2nd half of season anything is possible. Imagine if we had close to full strength for a month or two. Not only would the team be great, but they would also improve a lot. If we always have several players out, will be very tough. KPP and Fainu were both pivotal, the team dynamic changes massively. At least if Sam Fainu stays fit once back, that will be a big boost.

Fingers crossed to some injury luck and some other teams get some reverse luck haha.
