Coming up against Argentina in the round of 16 again would be just cruel, I know there’s never say never but it would be just about the greatest upset in the history of sport if we managed to overcome them. Egypt first though

Portugal now go on to play Spain, old rivals and co hosts for the 2030 WC.

I remember a famous night when we beat the Argies 4-1 in Sydney in 1988, and whilst it was only a friendly it was an amazing result at the time , oh to relive that would send the football world into overdrive.

They’re definitely not at full tilt yet but suggest this next match could end up a 4-3 score line , or similar, Spain have to be favourites but I read an interesting article on Instagram last night that says the whole tournament is rigged , and Portugal are supposed to win the whole thing !!!
Gotta love a good conspiracy theory !
