In retrospect, that post probably was aimed at the club now. It would sting the ego to be told you aren’t needed if you can find somewhere else.
If you are earning 1.2 million per year, you would just brush off any criticism that comes your way and get on with it.
He cannot help himself, maybe we need a culture re-think.

Come on mate.. he is by far the best defender in the backs .. he is easily our most classy player and is very respected bwothin the playing group. This is a deadset embarrassing situation as we say one thing and do another .. having jarome at the club for another year is vital and we will regret it forever if we attempt to show him the door. If this was done without Benji input by HBG or some bean counter then I am just so over these idiots being involved with the footy team .. the Koe and Magpies playing at lidcombe and not bofere our nrl team and the division through the pathways is bad enough .. so over the lack of vision and loyalty and leadership

Maybe. But it’s another black eye for the club. Another year of a marquee player walking out early. The club has to bear some responsibility.

Multi-premiership winning player.
He just, wasn't/isnt as good, outside that system as we thought.
Much like Adam Blair.
It has turned out to be a very mediocre signing and it seems, it's for the best, he leaves now, as he's leaving in 2028 anyways.
I think if his PNG campaign goes the same way his Tigers one has, it'll be quite clear what kind of player he is.
