We are spending virtually the same amount on our team that every other NRL club is, therefore our results, our position on the ladder and the fact we struggle to score a try when in our opponents red zone tells you we are over paying certain players.
That is common logic.

Fletcher Hunt’s management have apparently told the Knights they’ll be playing with fire if he’s still not signed come November 1. One to keep an eye on.

Its a nobrainer deal.
Parra replace Pezet with a class 5/8. We offload 900k (1.2m - 300k) worth of cap space and let Latu/AD/Madden become a half pairing.

I could be wrong but that’s not the structure any of the current top 4 use or most of the top 8 for that matter.

We will obviously see how it plays out in the coming weeks/months, but as it stands we will have a weaker squad next year without him than we currently do.

We’re in the Rugby League business. The only thing that matters is W/L. I’m so sick of hearing how we are freeing up cash by letting good players go.

This is my biggest issue for the past decade. We release players and rarely replace with suitable players, let alone upgrades.

We are losing our highest paid player, surely we cannot just be using this large amount of money to allocate between existing squad members. Other teams have to upgrade their players as well.

We have the same salary cap as other teams and our squad does not even come close to comparing to most.

If the plan for 27’ is to go in with AD / Jock / Latu / Javon, then we need to get Terrell some help up front and better interchange forwards.
