Maybe...I though 600k was reportedI thought Hunt was signed for $400,000 per season, I could be wrong though.

dev players also don’t count towards the cap either. No chance Pole is on any less than 450 - 500k when there is a big shortage of decent props.
Similar to Bula and the May brothers, Makasini would have received an upgrade for 2027 as part of his recent contract extension and although he is certainly not worth it just yet, I think we are paying him around 500k for 2027 onwards.
Sukkar is now demonstrating he is capable of playing well at NRL level, I think there will be rival too 30 offers which will mean we need to pay above the minimum wage to keep him.
We might be able to retain him for 200k, but very doubtful it would be any less than that.
With Averillo, so you think we are paying him 500k for 2027 and then around 700 - 750k for 2028 - 2030 ?
If there is a big cap increase as being suggested that might work ok for us.
...and releasing Luke L and picking up Schuster. Sadly, Rona isn't coming.dev players also don’t count towards the cap either.
Our cap for next year is healthy. There’s a reason we were looking at Watson and Averillo at the same time, and the only thing that’s happened since then is releasing Toa for Averillo and picking up Tupou on less than minimum.
At minimum we have enough cap for another big fish next year.

In theory it is, in reality I think it is roughly what would have been requested for him to extend in light of plenty of interest from elsewhere.I Haven’t seen any credible figures for the Maka extension … it was reported that Rugby were after him too when he extended …. I suspect $500k could well be a bit light
Not yet. But I'm taking a guess it's Bunty Afoa and 1 of Charlie Murray or Ethan Roberts.Do we know who filled the roster spots left for this year?

Afoa - I just think he would have agreed to go on a Dev contract with a guarantee to be promoted to top 30 at June 30.
Murray - there were mentions about a month ago from his management on Insta that were negotiating an extension with the WT.
Roberts - moves to top 30 next season anyway and would be on the minimum.
Yeah we have to have had 30 players contracted in the top 30 by June-30.Is this a requirement to have all the spots filled ? I expect we might not have the salary cap space to upgrade 3 guys even to minimum
Ok. Wasn't sure on Bird.We only need to fill 1 spot.
At 27.
Had Bird & Luke Lualilli. Makes 29. They count even though they are gone.
Need to be 30 by June 30. Someone upgraded but who knows who.
Surely he is Development and not top 30?Pretty sure josese Lanyon re-signed for 2 years and he's not on the list?
The write up I read didn't confirmSurely he is Development and not top 30?
Full time T&TThe write up I read didn't confirm
Agree. Further justification for moving Luai on.With Luai going and possibly hunt, we only have 20 signed for 2027, so we will have 10 roster spots left? That's alot of spots to fill
not sure if train and trial but Fainu's brother is looking to join tigers in 2027 could be a roster spot gone there, agreed with the above we need to sign atleast 3 or so middles, really lacking up front besides pole and mayAgree. Further justification for moving Luai on.
Of those currently contracted I hope these guys can do enough in the remaining games to earn another contract
