You raise a good point about AD’s shoulder Happy. I know he’d get more traffic at lock but he still has to make his tackles playing 7, which he hasn’t lately. Maybe it’s best he goes for surgery now given what’s going on, unless he leaves. For the past month our attack just isn’t working with him at half, Madden isn’t the answer either. It’s not ideal to blood Javon now but we really don’t have any other option. We need a really big game today from Api, Luia and Bula. Can’t expect Javon to save the day, but hoping he can play a role and show he belongs in 1sts. Hopefully the 2 Alex’s put that frustration into a strong game for us too!

Hard to disagree with that G, it's a reoccurring theme and the truth hurts, soft as butter at the business end and always some internal trouble rearing its ugly head.

They have to find an answer to get the season preparation right so the team doesn't peter out and look at why so many injuries are happening if a solution is possible.

After last night it could be hard to find an answer with all the nasty injuries across the teams, make you think this years champions will be a team with their best players not on the sidelines.

Its generally the way...the team that uses the least players (least i juries) wins the comp.

Love to know how many media people were at training that had been tipped off - when Kent and Hooper - on the outers know - you can bet your life they weren't alone. Players reportedly talking to the media about it - is unacceptable.

Benji set the standard at the start of the season with the comment that if you’re not all in then there’s the door or something similar. I recall Benji telling AD in the off season that he was the 7. I think AD is drawing a line in the sand and perhaps challenging Benji on his word and integrity (standards).
I don’t believe personally that AD has permanent hold the 7 jersey regardless of what Benji said but perhaps the Luai situation has him asking questions as to why he was moved when he remained loyal?

Why... easy, the saying is if it isn't broken no need to fix it...well it's broken,so Benji is trying to fix it..Now we are all mug fans but a lot have been saying Adam to 13 , be loyal not selfish....

Mate if Peter moussa who’s notoriously conservative thinks he’s right to go , he’s right to go. It’s not park footy. You can’t force someone who’s injured to play . The rlpa have strict guidelines against it , not to mention if the guy suffers a career ending injury , you don’t have any insurance because it’s voided because of negligence .
Also his injury is a dislocated shoulder , popping it out usually comes from hyper extending it , reaching out to score ,grab someone etc. I’m not a physio but I think the risk is less about the impact , but more about the volume of work . They’ve obviously as a club assessed it’s fine . We have a good medical team here , very respected . Benji would have and has a duty to run it by Peter prior to making the decision .

I think most fans are excited to see what Javon can bring and aren't upset that AD isn't playing half. We are upset that senior players keep hijacking our season and taking a dump on our club and coach. I hope Javon kills it.

An NRL season is one hell of a grind. It’s easy to come out and look like a million bucks in the first couple months while the marquee sides are finding their feet. Post Origin is when you separate the men from the boys. And like clockwork, we always get found out as boys.

I wonder if because of the lack of depth, the injuries we've had, making us play guys out of position some for longer minutes, if the guys are just physically fatigued and mentally burntout. I cant remember the last time we had a roster
Where we could rotate guys to give them a game off here and there.

Personally id give him the benefit of the doubt and move on, for all i know his missus may have walked out on him that morning. He might be battling depression. He would be told in no uncertain terms though the doors always open if theres an issue to discuss in private, but a stunt like tgat again, theres another door he will be shown. Though i cant blame anyone who says to just punt him either.

This is where the reasoning doesnt add up innk, cause Benji was going to have him defending in the exact same spot he does at 7 and was going to push Andrews out side him to the centres in D. 🤷‍♂️

Tiny did his twice before going for surgery on the third time and not once did he dog contact or refuse to hit with his shoulder. AD is cat that has never been any good defensively.

KPP made him look good until he got injured, now KPP isn't cleaning up his mess AD is bog average defensively again......
