I get your point, but I think each season of failure knocks people down a peg or two more. This year has really killed it for me, going backwards again after a slightly promising rise up the ladder last year is unacceptable imo, but there will always be the eternal optimists I suppose. You think there could be a worse way to go into an off season losing by 50 in spoon bowl at fortress Cambo? Everyone forgot about in no time.
I hear you. I’m following Dolphins too for the same reasons. They play like winners. Not like our sad bunch.I also have checked out. Have followed the Tigers (Balmain) and Wests Tigers since I was 8 years old, I am now 70, do the maths. Find myself very depressed with everything that's been going on, not just the loosing, but all the crap besides that. To try to balance this, I have recently adopted a second team, the Dolphins, don't get me wrong, I still follow the Wests Tigers and will for eternity, but having a second team to follow helps me mentally, at least I can look forward to perhaps some good news when they play, hopefully a win.
I deliberately chose the Dolphins, not because of where I live, or that they are favorites, but because they are a new entity and partly because I dislike all the adjoining clubs such as Bulldogs, Eels, Roosters and Manly. Besides that I personally think that the Dolphins play an attractive style of football.
Just my way of not feeling as depressed just following the basket case of a club such as the Wests Tigers.
I still can’t believe that hasn’t happened in all this time! It’s worse than trying to win the lottery 😂Too see 😉😉when the ultimate score line of
wests tiger 25 - opponents 18 is achieved.
Great to help out the team, spent the season with HuddersfieldThat was Liam Fulton in 2009, too. Played for Leeds, iirc

At least the club has an appropriate emblem in the Tiger.
Tigers are the lazy opportunists of the animal kingdom that sleep 18 hours a day and have a success rate of around 10 per cent when hunting.
I was actually glad that this week is a bye for us, it's no stress this week.auto renew...
I have been a season ticketed gold member since first year, same seats at LO since 88 balmain days and since 2000 at CSS
it is a struggle to get interested in last home game, been a dissapointing year in the end.
I hated the Sharks for years. Mainly due to shit humans like Gallen and Ennis. However, outside of Ronaldo, they don’t really have any grubs in their side these days. And it’s hard not to be won over by how consistent they are, every single year. Whether they are contenders or not, they more often than not play in September.I don’t like the Sharks at all, but I admire how every year for decades except the odd season they win more than their fair share of matches. They do it by a very simple formula, they play very uncomplicated style of football based on discipline, winning the grind and consistency.
Our mob for decades are the complete opposite and that is why they are perennial losers. We have no discipline, we fail miserably at the fundamentals and when the going gets tuff we turn it up.
All that consistency sounds pretty flamin' boring compared to the fun of being a Wests supporter.I hated the Sharks for years. Mainly due to shit humans like Gallen and Ennis. this as well ive been slowly started to change my teams as of late(to perth) cause i lost a lot of enjoyment i had with the older teamsI wasn't going to bring it up yet but oh well. I'm supporting the Bears from next year. It's not on a whim..I've lived in Perth for 6 years now so convenient to see live NRL and get involved. The Bears will be bottom 4 for quite awhile I know but i honestly have no problem not supporting the Tigers anymore. Yeah after year of ineptitude. Also at the end of it all I don't even care about the players anymore. Maybe Twal or a couple others but the rest could leave for all I care.
Anyway still have a free weeks to see how the young guys turn out in first grade I guess.
I'm with you on this and I was just thinking about it a few weeks ago. I was thinking about on the basis that they are not an especially well financed team but annually punch well above their weight. Is this correct or are they funded up there with the broncos?I don’t like the Sharks at all, but I admire how every year for decades except the odd season they win more than their fair share of matches. They do it by a very simple formula, they play very uncomplicated style of football based on discipline, winning the grind and consistency.

We will find some way to lose this one like we always do. At least you bought a smile to my face which has not happened very often when talking Tigers.Your wish shall finally be granted this week
Abracadabra alakazam Wambam thankyamam
