Another big game, another bad decision by Ashley Klein, this time in the bunker. Bloke just can't get it right when it matters. Why can the NRL not move on from him? He's cooked.

Or perhaps he was all over the Roosters to win, cynical I know but this is the ongoing problem when you have a bad gambler in à position to affect the outcome of a professional sport. It’s sort of like insider trading !

The only reason the NRL/Anusley stopped doing it was because it highlighted the incompetence of the referees in general and it was total bad exposure for the game.
Can you imagine the terrible exposure in the media of being asked publicly how referees can abuse the 6 again every week or how the bunker can get so many obvious calls wrong.

It was a deliberate action by the defence imho as others have already stated on here.As always the dogs are blessed by the refs more than anyone else except the donkeys.

As an old and long-time Tigers supporter, I will never forget the way a result against the Cowboys was manufactured by the bunker after fulltime. Klein was the culprit on this occasion. It has since come out he had a gambling problem around that time which he has now supposedly has under control.
Over recent years, whilst I am not his greatest fan, I have found him to be the fairest and most consistent referee of the lot. I don't find him bias, just experienced. Last night he referred the no try decision to the bunker. What else can he do. It was up to the bunker to look at all vision available.
The Bunker got it wrong BADLY.
