I agree with that, but what is the reason behind it ?Talent identification is poor. But also developing players from those late teenage years onwards into better players is also poor.
Many love to say lack of funding.
I don’t believe that reason be true, but even if it is true, you can have all the staff and resources you want, but unlimately the head coach which in our case is currently Benji has to make time and have a clear progression plan including confirming things each player is doing well and constantly communicating things they are needing to improve on.
I understand it’s a big job and too much for one person to take on, but the head coach has to be across it and be very aware of each emerging players strengths, weaknesses, progression and what if any assistance is required.
I have a feeling Benji does not take enough interest in this side of things.
